I noticed the slight wiggle on the spoiler too and had time, so I popped off the cover and checked the two screws and 6 bolts. All tightened up correctly, so no issues I can see. I feel good about the way this was put together. Hope the pictures help.
I feel like Captain Trips. The instructions are buried deep in the multimedia manual. Press and hold the Mode button on the steering wheel to mute and unmute. I always forget this exists myself.
Mine work better than any car I have owned (BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc.). Best ventilated seats ever.
However, in eco drive mode, all AC functions, including ventilated seats, reduce their functionality. If you want them to work as intended, drive in Normal mode. See if that helps.
Thanks. I’ve got a request for evaluation from dent pro for that. Body shop said it is too close to the seam to pull, but will see what the suction cup guy can do. Plus paint is scraped and that part of the tailgate is aluminum too.
Probably will just live with it as a battle scar or put a...
Ok…looking for group therapy and know I am not alone. Here are my bumps and bruises so far. All self inflicted I am sad to admit.
First is scrape on the skids from rock crawling the Rubicon. No pictures, but that is what skids are for.
Second is the divot I put in the headliner while moving...
Great idea. Thanks for the tip! I ordered a set of small gauge curved suture needles to see if I can use those to slowly work the foam backer into proper alignment again. Won’t be perfect, but better than the current divot!
I was transporting an exercise bike when it tipped over and the base punched the headliner (see photos). Looks like the headliner is one large piece, so not going to replace it just for this. Any ideas on repair for this or do I just live with it as my LC’s first battle scar?
Thanks in advance!
Jerry rigged system now. We used the MIMSafe Variobarrier headrest medium in our Mercedes GLS. MIMSafe is a Swedish company that makes great barriers for crash safety. LC headrests don’t raise up high enough for the headrest version though, so it won’t work. I ordered the standard...
Took my dogs to and from Tahoe in 100 degree weather with no issues. The AC vents in the roof are great and keep the cargo area very cool and the dogs were super happy. Opened the rear hatch and it was like opening a refrigerator door.
Since people started clearing out from Tahoe today, my son and I decided to take the Land Cruiser on a loop up the Rubicon and across to Barker Pass. The Land Cruiser was all I expected and more. Great trail to test things out on. Ran into Toyotasuarus Rex from Walla Walla on the trail and...
No offense taken…I learned my lesson the hard way. Luckily the tow was covered by insurance…and I always travel with an air compressor and full size spare these days!
And ensure my tires have enough tread depth to handle the razor sharp slate in the Sierra Nevada foothills!
