Personal preference. If you are not an off-roader, like me, I think the 20" wheels give the LC a sharp look and a meaner stance. However, if you are an off-roader, then 18's for certain.
As an insurance attorney, we always recommend if you run someone over and they are still alive, back up and run them over again.
This holds the mudflap in place.

I just received a call from my dealer in that area that they had a black FE available that has extremely minor damage--maybe a cracked windshield...they offered at $500 off MSRP.
Land Rover / Range Rover has been overdone. They send the wrong image.
I have had 3 Range Rover Sports. One was supercharged and two were regular V8's.
I leased 2 of them new and purchased the other one CPO'd which was about a year old and 12k miles on it.
All three of them were plagued...
I actually would prefer to have a matte silver/gray Landcruiser emblem on the dark colored vehicles.
It gives a bit of contrast.
I also like the brushed chrome middle piece on the rear hatch.
I have seen this on some European models / Japanese models and it looks sharp.
I’m not into...
I agree. I’m not sold on the need for the side moldings.
I am a big fan of a lot of designs on SUVs.
I like the look of full running boards as well. To me they look rugged and finishes them off.
I’m going to figure out how to buy the First Edition mud flaps eventually.
It sounds like they...
Thank you for the information.
So the dealer is adding an additional $200 for the illuminated door sill installation?
That must be about an hour of shop labor.
So, I presume they can do it in a half hour or less.
Should be an easy install.
The moldings I wouldn’t want to attempt myself as...
Yes. I have a Landcruiser Edition w/Premium and 20" wheels incoming.
Spoke with dealer in the Midwest yesterday and he said all FE's are obviously allocated. And LE's supposedly are
expected mid June. They are expecting a large volume.
I am expecting late July or so for mine.
Note: They...
I like the style of the First Edition mudflaps and would like to put them on my incoming Landcruiser Edition.
Does anyone know if this style will/is be available without "First Edition" written on it?
I had a cool box in my last Range Rover Sport. It was a novel idea, however, I never used it. It actually didn't work very well as it maintained a temp well above a nice "chilled" temperature. I believe the English may drink their ales warmer than we do.
That is normal and also something you want as well.
Check the VIN and options and ensure everything is in line.
Also, add a clause to the purchase contract indicating it is fully contingent on the factors above as well as acceptable condition of the vehicle upon delivery.
What I found when I was originally looking:
Dealers to avoid were in Chicago, NY/NJ, majority of CA, PA, FL, WA, and any small dealer with low volume. That doesn't necessarily mean a small city as so many big dealers are owned by large corporate conglomerates and have locations in "small"...
I thought it was peculiar as well. I don't know what it would accomplish on Toyota's part to issue a pre-VIN prior to the original VIN. Likely my salesman is misinformed.
Always go to a dealer that requires a deposit. Imaginary waitlists which include everyone in town who would "love to own a Landcruiser someday" are not valid allocation waitlists.
Just like buying a Rolex Submariner. There are millions of people on the "waitlist" who would "love to own a...
I have watched a few Japanese videos wherein they have added a partial colored-keyed fender flare molding.
It looks sharp, especially on white.
I would only add it if it is a Toyota manufactured accessory/add-on.
Is anyone familiar with this accessory?
Thank you, Smokester. That is what I was quasi assuming. I have narrowed one down, however, it does have them listed as an option. Sounds like dealer can install them easily.
It appears most of the Landcruiser Edition and FE’s have the illuminated door sill option.
However, if they don’t have it, does anyone know if this is an easily added / plug and play option?
Agree. I need the cross bars as well for snow skiis and road bikes. It does look like a fair number of them are equipped with them. If not, may have to use Yakima or Thule until they become available.
Thank you, Death Destroyer of Worlds.
Your name is very subtle. I like it.
Yes. I’ve never been a fan of black wheels personally. I prefer a bit of contrast with grey or the like.
I certainly get the desire for 18” wheels for off-roading.
I am not an avid off-roader myself.
