Well done. That white looks sharp. How do you like it in the flesh?
I'm majorly torn between white and black now. My allocation is set for either color over Java.
Agreed. While I have enjoyed my 5th Gen 4Runner over the years, the Landcruiser definitely gives a more refined look inside and out.
Some of these 4Runners I see driving around town have been modified in such poor taste they look immature and less than flattering.
As a 48 year old, I'm...
I agree. I have a '22 4Runner Limited as well. At 6'3," 205 lbs, I have never found the 4Runner too tight inside. However, the large LC will be a nice size increase.
Has anyone happened to verify when the incoming Landcruisers will switch to a 2025 model?
I was told by my dealer about 2 months ago that my incoming model will likely be a 2025 with an arrival date in August/Sept.
Black is a good color on all trims.
It looks like there are a number of FE's coming available for a number of reasons.
I had a dealer call me yesterday with "exciting news." I called him back and he said they are able to get a black FE in about 3 -4 months and I would only have to pay a...
I am curious how the factory 20" wheels would look on the FE.
The 20" wheels are apparently more a of a grayish color verses black.
The contrast may look sharp.
I agree, She has it in her possession and is enjoying it.
And we don't know the details.
I, personally, wouldn't pay the extra $10k to get it right now. I'd wait a few months if necessary.
But then again, I have enough vehicles and don't need one this instant. Plus, I am tight.
I would assume she is paying cash for it, like many of us are doing (a Landcruiser tradition it seems), so it's likely not the money issue per se. It's the fact the dealer misrepresented / lied to her.
Congratulations! Great looking 1958. I like the pic next to the fuel pumps. I have a feeling that's where we all will be spending a lot of time with our new Landcruisers. Ha
Yes you could. Just like stainless shafts on your golf clubs. I always pick up surface rust when traveling to a significantly more humid climate and then back to dryer conditions. It's rust, however, just surface rust which does not impact the strength at all.
With all due respect, I am a corporate lawyer. There are many elements which comprise the making of a contract. A contract is not only created at the time of signing. There are many factors involved leading to the creation of a signed contract as well as subsequent to the execution of...
I plan on using the cool box as additional storage. I never used the cool boxes in my previous Range Rover Sports. In fact, they didn't work very well at all.
There very much are legal consequences to a party for failure to follow the terms of a purchase agreement.
If a party relies on promises, they have damages.
Just because everyone is doing it doesn't make it right or legal. If they did not clearly advise you while negotiating the purchase price that there would be a $10k increase above the MSRP due at the date of the sale, then it was a unilateral contract and as such, not a valid contract.
You do...
Yes, I believe you are right. The LC Edition and FE have black painted mirrors and door handles. Perhaps the spoiler is painted black as well.
I know they started doing that on the '23 GX460 Black Editions for the last year of the run and it looked sharp on white models.
Just wait until the QC hold is released and there will be a massive flood of LC's available.
Drive and enjoy what you have in the interim and wait until this clears up.
I agree with you that at the end of the day, it's not the end of the world in the grand scheme. However, the issue I see is the dishonest/lying that the dealer clearly did. Whether it's a lie about $10.00 or $10M, it's still a lie and this should be addressed.
Just like when a person lies to...
Congratulations. Outstanding Landcruiser. Great color as well.
Re the window sticker and the dealer not showing it to you. That is very shady. They must provide the window sticker with the delivery of the vehicle.
I presume you have emails indicating there would be no markup and you would...
Yes. I do want to know and I concur. I have an aluminum trailer made by Featherlite and they are capable and extremely easy to manhandle when attaching and detaching/moving around the garage.
