Thank you for the write up, Dr. M.
There are always changes with new model introductions. Glad to hear you like the new one,
Your old one is sharp as well. Time to give it to your son on his way to Georgetown!
The Land Cruiser badge should not be black unless you want a “black package.”
It looks like hell in black on a black truck. It needs to be changed to match the front Toyota logo.
I learned the polarized glasses trick as well after calling the BMW dealer and advising my HUD stops working only between the hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and begins working perfectly again at night.
Yes. It can and will be used against you even if it is not your fault for the accident in question.
It shows your driving history. And a good Plaintiff lawyer will use it to impeach your driving as there will always be flaws in your driving style.
That is horrible. If we only knew what went on from the time the vehicle leaves Japan and reaches our home garage.
Sharp color combo. Good choice in requesting another one. That Heritage Blue would never match and it would haunt you
for many years to come.
Years ago, BMW was the defendant in...
I drove and LC w/20s last evening. Outstanding driver. Much better than my 4R Limited ‘22.
The engine is quick and the transmission shifts rapidly and smoothly.
I believe it will learn your driving style in a few hundred miles or so and be a well-oiled synchronized machine.
Your driving style could also be discoverable in a lawsuit. These records can be subpoenaed from the corporation acting as a record holder. It is akin to an ECM on commercial semi-trucks and a "black box" on commercial airplanes. This is not information you want scrutinized by a sharp...
That’s what I see in it as well—a silver hue. I like it.
I stopped by a dealer in town that had a black Premium (allocated to another buyer) and looked it over.
Black looks good. However, absolutely everything on the truck is black.
There is no contrast.
The lines / black trim really look...
It is clearly an attempt to take advantage of buyers. Even Rolex doesn't sell their watches over MSRP despite certain models in extremely high demand and many people are on waiting lists for years and years.
If this is accurate (which I suspect it is), my dealer was actually honest when they said the model change will be in late summer and the '24's have long been built and closed.
The electronic parking brake was one of the big Achille's heel in two of my Range Rover Sports.
The problem with Land Rover is the "electronic" part.
On 3 separate occasions while driving on the highway, the parking brake errors and engaged. This, of course,
causes the vehicle to slow down...
I am waiting for a black LC and don’t care for the black Landcruiser badge on the rear.
Has anyone come across a grey Landcruiser badge or is there a good way to make this grey?
Congratulations on the FE!
I am amazed at the inventory Okoboji can pull in. They had one of the first Grand Wagoneers when they were impossible to get.
The larger cities surrounding Okoboji (Omaha, Minneapolis, Des Moines) are still waiting for inventory.
Congratulations on the FE. Glad...
I presume a lot of us have and will be trading in other Toyota products for the LC.
Generally speaking, how have the numbers offered on trade been for other Toyota products?
I have a '22 4R Limited w/10k miles I'll be trading in and determining where I'd like to be on trade.
As I wait for my allocation, I consistently monitor the market on Autotrader, etc.
It seems like many dealers are still asking $5k over MSRP for the LC Edition. Some are $7,500 - $10k over MSRP.
Are people actually paying this or are the dealers dropping that as soon as a potential buyer...
In my old college days of driving Jeep Wranglers (hard top on or off), the only method of communication with a passenger or actually hearing a 311 song playing on the CD player:
