I didn’t understand the shifting to mode 1 and 2 in M ?
Please some explain that.
Does this mean place gear shift to manual mode and select 1st or 2 nd gear?
Lot of people here are getting over 20mpg , but some not , do you really think the. 6 cylinder is going to give you better mileage than a 4 cylinder , under same conditions?
Some people just don’t understand simple things
so this tells me your on your 2nd tank of gas correct? you said you have never reset your gauge either on steering wheel or info system? which is a 15.95 avg
Only if you believe that the Lexus mpg rating is more accurate than LC . I would say it be percentage wise the same lower in your daily driving of 25% which would mean 12 mpg!!!
I saw that , but on the info screen it will give you dates and mileage . yours says avg mpg , but it doesn't tell us when you reset the meter ? is that from first tank to current , or last tank , or last trip , or today/

I would like for the people posting they are getting over 25mpg to show the pictures on the screen .
I would like to see the history of MPG and avg speed .
I just wonder if people are just having a short trip and seeing 26mpg and reporting that as fact. average?
The one guy says he saw 29.1 on...
Well I don’t know but I will say my tundra hybrid is about the same with 87 octane so far maybe some better around town , but worse on highway.
I didn’t buy the LC for fuel savings , so anything above 17 is good for me .
I have 2000 miles on my FE with Falken wild peak AT4 265/70/18.
My latest tank of premium fuel and being miserly trying hard to use hybrid coasting a lot 18.4 .
That is the best I have done since new .
Highway driving if difficult to get 18 setting cruise at 75mph .
You need to consider more than just weight the rating most of tire sizes you are looking at have E rating 10 ply sidewalls . This translates to a much thicker sidewall more resistant to sidewall damage and can carry heavier loads . The negative is with this you also get heavier tires , harsher...
hybrid battery level i displayed below the max out put gauge if you have it selected on center display . It doesn't seem to ever change for me . Braking does not seem to have any affect . My tundra hybrid i could see it go up just from driving on highway , but it doesn't seem to affect it on LC?
My tundra hybrid on had 30 more hp than the non hybrid models , but at 400 hp vs 430 hp both are plenty , but the hybrid did help around town mpg and definitely helped with towing .
The same is true for LC , but has 102 less hp and about same weight .
My Porsche has approx 400 hp and can’t tow...
I tied somestuff on top of rack for the first time this weekend. I soon realized that the side bars are way to flimsy to use as anchor point , the thin sheet metal will flex/bend. I wound up anchoring and tying off to the cross members , It worked but was not ideal
I would ask if anyone has...
For some reason it's almost impossible for me to start off from a stop and not have the engine start almost immediately after take off. The only way i can keep the engine from starting and using only electric propulsion is to creep forward . that will get me rear ended or people honking their...
It depends on conditions it is used , parked and stored in . Anywhere from 4-8 years would be a guess . It will become hard to peel off before it starts cracking or yellowing
I currently have 1200 miles premium gas . 300 plus mile 99 % highway at 75 mph cruise 17.5 mph, fully loaded with stuff and surf board on top rack .Eco mode
