"Toyota unveiled its all-hybrid seventh-generation βwidebodyβ Camry last week, internally known as XV80, which will exclusively be powered by a hybrid powertrain as its signature long-selling V6 option will no longer be available. This is arguably as important a move for the brand in the U.S...
It is already a business for replacing and reconditioning hybrid batteries. It will be huge in 2030 no matter where the electrified car volume is going (50% 70% or 90%).
Here is an example: All you need to know about Hybrid Battery Reconditioning Green Bean Battery
If you're still afraid of...
It is out of question to recondition EV or Hybrid batteries. They may change the technology or not, but anyhow in 10 years the battery price will drop.
Toyota will offer full support and reasonable price, they cannot afford to ruin Landcruiiser reputation. And this battery is the same for a...
This is a good point. Remember I have an EV. Anyhow there is a 10 years 100k warranty on the battery and with all this research and investment all over the planet I hope to see smaller, cheaper and overall much better replacement batteries in 2032. Wishful thinking ?
BTW if before buying the...
It is not possible to wait 2 years for a Toyota once they launch the orders, specs, price... Toyota always did much better than that.
And even without the competition it is really hard to choose your next Toyota: 4Runner, Tacoma, Highlander and Grand Highlander, Landcruiser, Tundra, Sequoia ...

We will see the specs and price next week !
I did not do anything so far. It is not so bad but I consider removing rust and protecting the underbody.
Right now I am checking both products or process. Three options so far:
-removing chassis and components, sanding and painting all of them separately (best quality, huge cost and time)...
Check this size 265/70 R17, there are 30 different winter tires at megatirecalgary.com
You can use the same rims.
Winter Traction: Cooper Discover Snow Claw Tire Review at $219
Michelin winter tires at $293.
"they feel like there is gap between the LC300 series and the 70 series so they want to reposition the Landcruiser in the mid level between the two and go back to the original intent of the Landcruiser which means a 4x4 for everyone and not necessarily a premium luxury vehicle and that's why...
Sure.
If you want you can go off-roading in winter but most probably in that area you will get the same low temperatures snow ice.....
The best thing is to get real winter tires for the cold season and good A/T tires for the "summer".
The link I posted was for that specific size 275/65 R18. Lot...
I thought it is clear but just in case, as @skidaddi said you need winter tires. Not All Season, All Terrain, Road terrain, Mud Terrain ... even if they have some snow flakes on the side. "Winter tires are made with a special rubber compound that stays flexible in temperatures below 45ΒΊ F. This...
What is the towing capacity of the X5 ? Your requirements are not easy to fulfill . 32 mpg on the highway, torque, towing capacity, no lithium, plus the off-road capability of the Landcruiser .... you need a Diesel engine. The Landcruiser is a great car, but is not efficient at high...
There are some questions here:
1. Do you plan to use these winter tires and then replace them with some A/Ts for the summer ?
2. Can you use a slightly different size or 275/65 R17 is a must ?
Then check what tires can you find at a reasonable price. $480 (even canadian) is not reasonable for me.
The two cars are very different. If you look for more off-rod adventure & capability Landcruiser is very interesting comfortable and efficient. If road performance is important you still have the 40i or 50e (483HP combined 4.6sec....and even 39 miles range on EV - max 30 in real life).
