And look what Toyota US says:

Q&A:
"My vehicle uses conventional motor oil, but Iโm thinking about switching to synthetic motor oil. Can I do this ?
Yes, as long as the synthetic oil is the same viscosity (weight)...
What oil do you use ? For me the Oi change mileage/interval is incredibly low in US, as well as the basic oil change cost.
$15 + tax for a Nissan SUV at the dealership is SF  (not sure it is still possible today, but I did it in 2019 in Texas)
2.5k-3k miles or three months interval...
Do you mean the Landcrusier has a rear solid axle just to save cost ? Please remember this car is a durable and reliable off-roader designed to be very comfortable and efficient on the road.
FYI. Happy End! Due to the low mileage the claim to NIssan was accepted and they covered 90% of the cost. The Titan XD got a new transmission. This truck had 5 years 100,000 miles bumper-to-bumper warranty.
I think GH is the only car available with TWO different Hybrid powertrains. 2.5 and 2,4T. Regarding the 2.5 the difference will be way more than 10k. And I see no problem on snow. People are amazed about the claimed 27mpg efficiency of the Land Cruiser 250. GH offers much more space and can do...
I like your fleet. It is very similar to mine. Please consider for the daily commute the Grand Highlander 2.5 Hybrid also. Way cheaper, much better efficiency.
It may shift smoothly but driving will be much better with the Landcruiser. As mentioned before LC is a durable off-roader designed to be very comfortable and efficient on-road !
Many people will still choose the Bronco, but the two cars are very much different,
You're right, he did 24mpg with a very economical driving at 50 mph. On the highway Tundra i-Force Max gets 19-20, obviously less at 80mph.
I am sure the Land Cruiser should be able to do 30mpg, economical driving on country roads once you understand that hybrid system. But on the highway it...
Let's be honest, 750 mile will be possible before 2030 but .... with an aerodynamic car and NOT at highway speeds.
Just imagine 750 miles with a Cybertruck on the highway. Battery capacity should be huge, at 500Wh/mile it means 375 kWh
Manual transmission is another good example. At $6 or $8/gallon it would be more popular.
The Off-road capability and durability is a must for many drivers but very few are considering the fuel efficiency as a main purpose when buying a new car.
This time is not only about the simplicity. Like...
35mpg vs 27 looks huge but when you calculate $25/mo ... this is nothing in the US .
There will probably be a long and hard time before a mass adoption of efficient cars and EVs since gas is so cheap.
How did you get the information that LC250 is a smaller 4Runner ?
The LC250 in US hasn't an optional 3rd row because of the hybrid battery but this is not making it smaller.
It is a more comfortable, more modern and more efficient 4Runner, with standard full time AWD like all the others Land...
Welcome @mth1738 ! You're right, there are also millions of people who never towed anything with their big V8 trucks.
The Highlander and Grand Highlander 2.5 Hybrid are very comfortable and efficient SUVs.
LC will be close to Grand Highlander 2.4T Hybrid in terms of efficiency. Plus the...
I was talking about 2024 4Runner. The existing model. 4.0 V6 with a 3rd row optional. And it is not bad how they fit it.
As you say, there is no information about a completely new 4Runner coming soon.
In my opinion there is no reason to come with another new model now. 4Runner will keep many...
The noise will not be an issue. Regarding mpg vs non hybrid and vs Lexus information are available.
Lexus GX550 could be at 17-19mpg. LC250 could be at 25-27mpg.
We are waiting official figures for the new 2024 Tacoma which has both hybrid and non-hybrid 2.4T. The latter is rated 19/24/21 mpg...
we should ask this gentleman about the new model
he is most probably the biggest Land Cruiser owner in US
https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a46237399/avid-land-cruiser-collector-has-amassed-24-in-just-over-a-year/
https://www.toyota.com/tacoma/
This is the confirmation that the hybrid system (iForce MAX) is meant for extra power, not for efficiency.
The estimated MPG is the same for hybrid and non-hybrid 2.4T. The engine will turn off during coasting only.... and maybe at very low speeds of 5-10mph....
Where is a reliable source for such informations:
"The GX460 has average cargo space for a luxury midsize SUV. Thereโs 11.6 cubic feet of room behind the third row, 46.7 cubic feet behind the second row and 64.7 cubic feet behind the first row"...
