This is true. You can save a lot when you buy a car if you are patient and open minded. I never paid the MSRP. Wait for the deals. Unfortunately this is kind of mission impossible with Honda and Toyota.
The passenger seat is heated in standard, ventilated with the Landcruiser trim and 8-way power adjustable with the premium package, but:
1) When you pay 90k for a car, any missing feature is annoying
2) Landcruiser has always been about the car not about the gadgets.
We are like Sherlock Holmes..... more we study, more questions we get. The pioneer edition has 6 seats ! How ? Captain chairs and third row ?
Cargo volume for 5 seater is less than 1900 liters (67 cub feet) way less than Forester or Rogue. Hard to believe !
I spent some time, but it was impossible to find which gasoline comply to ASTM D4814 the minimum rating indicated in the User Manual.
Tacoma iForce Max will get the same powertrain, power and torque rating. Interesting issue ๐ค
I do not understand premium Gasoline is a must and I could not find any information regarding the gasoline compliance with ASTM D4814. Please clarify if you heard about the ASTM D4814 specifications.
I have another question for today's world: WHICH CAR DO WORTH THE MSRP ?
After every visit to a dealership I return home very proud... and wash carefully one of my old cars
Yes! 1.5 turbo. I drove both on long distance. The new model has more power and better efficiency compared to the old 2.5 (which is very efficient also).
They sold in US 271,400 Rogues in 2023 compared to 186,481 in 2022.
Back to the topic: where did Toyota indicate the LC 250 requires...
This is funny, I just visited Nissan and seen plenty of 2023 Rogue SV AWD at 28k. No luxury and nothing amazing about that car. It is just the best deal by far if you just need to move around in US...
I heard this 870 times in my life. "come on, if you drive a 30k, 40k, 50K.... car (evolution in time) what's the problem to pay double on fuel, insurance, maintenance......??"
Well, it is a big issue. No matter our means we will hopefully never purchase luxury cars.
Now, there is another...
As I do not understand real off-roading in a luxury car, I do not understand climbing rocks on ice either !
That "competition" was more about tires. BFG Trail Terrain are OK but :
"Can You Use the BFGoodrich Trail Terrain To Go Off-Roading?
BFG designed the Trail Terrain tire to be great for...
Very interesting subject. These guys are crazy. It is no coincidence that they advertise a law firm.
I need to check some "details" and then I will comment.
The hybrid will be a keeper too. The savings on gas and insurance will pay for many batteries (coming with a very long warranty period). Luxury and off-road are not in the same league. Landcruiser is a very comfortable and efficient off-roader. The 4Runner does not match on-road. At all...
This is correct. We are looking what is the hybrid iForce Max efficiency vs the engine. V6 or 4-cilinder .... this hybrid system is not about efficiency.
It is the same for the hybrid Tundra I tested. Easy acceleration from a massive vehicle.
Non-hybrid Tacoma did 22, the iForce Max Tacoma will not do much more. Maybe 23.
Do not expect much better efficiency from the Landcruiser. 25 mpg on the highway would be hard to get.
I wanted to test an iForce Max Hybrid Toyota and the only possibilities today, are Tundra of Sequoia.
Facts: During 15 min drive test with Tundra I tried whatever is possible to turn the engine off, but It was not possible ! The engine only turned off when I stopped the car, in ECO mode ๐ค
Mpg...
Toyota has many models and many powertrains available on those cars. Most of them are attractive, many are very efficient, almost all very durable cars.
The problem is that 1/2 of these models are almost impossible to get from Toyota.
The dealerships get 1 or 2 pcs every few months .... there is...
Have a look.

The hybrid battery is higher than the third row folded. But not a huge difference.
I am 100% for 1958. Landcruiser is about the car not about the gadgets. Keep it simple and it will be even more durable.
Did you find the low gear ratio ?
There is an error regarding the leg room 33.0/26.7 !?? on the website.

"US Statistics claim the average driver covers between 10,000 and 15,000 miles per year. A valid claim can be made that having your Oil Service completed three times per year (at around 5,000 miles), or every...
As you know the LC 250 is replacing the present LC 150. In Europe I assume 99% are Diesel. In US you got the GX470 (not available in Europe, maybe some exceptions)
The LC 250 coming in Europe will be Diesel and (they say) in 2025 will add a Mild Hybrid system. The same engine as LC 150 2.8L...
