I posted the video because two weeks ago I visited a Mercedes dealer and they had inside the showroom a nice G Klass AMG 63 4liter V8 585HP huge ground clearance and 325/55R22 tires (I've never seen this size before). It looks tough. Very reasonable price also, with 19% tax included, brand new...
The EVs are everywhere. Not for everybody yet. And the progress on batteries will be huge, in every aspect.
We use our low range EV for city driving (imagine driving in Rome) and max 50 miles from home. But we stopped using the classic cars in the city.
The EV registration plates have different...
Regarding the fuel efficiency they continued the good work This family of Landcruiser Prado had always better fuel efficiency (less power also) and a lower price.
A 2 row LC250 is fine for the US as the previous 3 rows US Landcruiser was much more expensive. In Japan, Australia, Europe ...
It looks like US will become the main market for the "small" Landcruiser. I am very excited to see how Toyota will cope with such demand and if Tesla could do better with the Cybertruck. For 2024 which one will deliver more in US ? Both cars are amazing.
Wow I I'm afraid Toyota can not limit the margins. Regarding the 40+ dealerships it is amazing. @FirstCruiser you make us better understand the meaning of "time and money" !
Love your story. I studied for 18 months.... all SUVs, 4WD systems, engines and features before purchasing my Landcruiser...
The LC250 is replacing this model. Here are the (many) features offered with LC150 on their biggest market so far... Australia !

Note: this statement is wrong for sure "With the second and third rows stowed away, thereβs a...
"Why is the Dacia Duster so popular?
The Dacia Duster is a back-to-basics small SUV that doesn't try to wow you with gimmicks. If all you want is fuss-free family transport and a bit of off-road ability, it's brilliantly fit-for-purpose."
In Jan 2022 they hit 2 million units ! Engines available...
Please remember the LC250 is a continuation of PRADO Landcruiser series. It is replacing the LC150. They added the Power Tailgate. And they did not replace a V8 with a 4 cylinder. Here is the existing tailgate :
The continuation of the old Landcruiser 200 is the LC300.
I agree and I add something. LC250 the basic trim. It already has so many features compared to my old LC120.
"The Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System was first available as an option on the model year 2004 Lexus GX 470, a sport utility vehicle that was only sold in North America, and based...
Yes, this is the HUD. Kind of feature I like but I will not pay extra for it. Landcruiser and First Edition trim.

I was checking the overheating issue and found this comment made in 2021.
"I bought and have been driving my 2.5td VM for the past 12 + years. Put 100 000 on it. Towing a trailer long distance. Cape town to Windhoek Namibia. 1500km one way. Trailer weight 700 to 1500 kg trailer.

I don't know how much the Mild hybrid system will increase efficiency but.... it will be a big deal in terms of taxes for many countries in Europe.
In my case a Diesel non-hybrid LC250 means $500/year tax. The Diesel Mild Hybrid LC250 will be $25 π€ 95% rebate for any type of Hybrid.
It may cost over 10k to get the moon roof. Where I am, for the existing LC150 you need the top trim for the moon roof. It means 17K over the base trim.
I do not think many Lexus customers will switch to LC250.
An EV is not for everybody. But negative examples are not relevant because there are millions of happy customers all over the planet.
You must study before buying an EV, same thing as for an off-roader.
I was puzzled back in 2019 when I met a family owning two cars, both Tesla, during their trip...
I've never seen these young men before but where exactly is the misinformation in this video: "LC80 has the underpinnings of a large Wrangler" ? Do you know many body-on-frame SUVs with two rigid axles and coil suspensions ?
I agree Alberta is not an EV champion. Today it is difficult to have one single car and that one to be an EV.
But as a second or third or... car it might be just perfect.
