Haha yes, Iām in a Bronco Sport as well & didnāt find the LC as much bigger as I was expecting. I consider the BS too small save for short city driving where it excels. Thatās what I evaluated it for when I did the test drive, but I do believe itās very tiny. I still wish I had my F150 for...
This is me at 6ā 230# sitting in one in the showroom. I didnāt find it too bad, but I perhaps expected something closer to full size truck room, which I miss, than compact suv room like the one I have now. I kept going back & forth between the LC & the Tundra they had beside it.
Thereās...
Are these vehicles maybe that have transport/shipping damage that then canāt be sold as new? I have no idea, but I typically associate auctions with repos, damaged vehicles, or just plain older odd ones.
If you truly want to have fun off-road the Ranger Raptor seems like a great bargain for what you get. Also considering a Ranger, but donāt need the Raptor version. I havenāt gotten to check one out in person yet, but my worry isnāt reliability, even comparing it to the LC. Itās low quality...
That was certainly my thought as well. It almost appears the LC is the next obvious choice. Iāve made some different decisions with cars through the years as life changes, but looking at this history Iāve been somewhat consistent.
The most common upgrade for people with a Sport is to...
1998-2007: 1998 GMC Sierra. It was pretty well miled & aged out. Time to trade for an upgrade.
2007-2016: 2007 Ford F150. It was getting up there & seemed big for the city. Wish Iād kept it, Iād still be driving it Iām sure. The best vehicle Iāve owned, though the Acura was up there too...

Thanks for inspiring me to do some reading on this as I actually didnāt remember how many different cars there were through all the movies!
This was a friendās logic in buying a Camry hybrid recently. If they can hold up for half a million miles of city driving taxi use & be economical to repair, they must do just fine as normal cars.
I really think they nailed the design, even if it does look a bit Rivian. Thereās only so much you can do with these types of vehicles to give them a heritage off roady look. They should find a niche & be well received if they can keep production like the concepts.
As a pure EV itās not at...
The center highlighted in the video is in Toronto & though itās for all Toyotas, they do show a LC receiving new fog lights. This appears to be the place where they put on all those port installed options nobody seems to want. Iām trying to figure out how shipping vehicles to a processing...
Enjoy! Care Care Nut videos also got me interested in Toyotas as I consider what vehicle might be right to keep for a decade or more. As I used to do, instead of trading every couple of years. Iām a truck guy, & want another, but all I haul is air anymore so maybe a LC will be about right.
For those who have experienced other makesā systems, is Toyotaās that much worse? Iāve had 2 Fords now with these features & Iāve maybe had the auto braking engage once when it didnāt need to. Most other times itās engaging just a hair sooner than Iām already on the brake. I have to try to...
Nice!! Up until I bought a 2007 Acura MDX in 2016 I could always find a hot wheels of every car Iād had, or reasonably close facsimile, if not an actual collector version die cast. Thatās kinda when I stopped bothering. I may well have to pick this up again.
Having seen pics of this mythical hdmi port, does it actually display video on the screen from external sources? I canāt imagine what else it would do, but being in N.America I also canāt conceive of a car maker or governing body doing or allowing this. Even with a āvehicle must be in parkā...
That looks like just a beautiful place to visit! & so close out. Is there a fair bit of area you can explore with just gravel roads out that way? Or was everything you posted after the more challenging section with the water crossing? Iām not a huge off roader, particularly when driving...
Iām sure many do. Unfortunately itās also possible to research & test drive, focusing only on some criteria, which ultimately leads to disappointment in the end when other important criteria arenāt satisfied. Hopefully at the end of the day OP gets used to the vehicle & satisfaction improves.
Everybody on here (& the GX forums) seems to hate it. But really, while it seems the car lacks storage, how much storage do you really need? I either have a bag full which is sitting on the passenger side floorboard anyways or need almost nothing. I have sunglasses in a case close at hand &...
Here I was worried about the LC fitting in my 7ft door normally. Iām guessing thatās not a problem for most implementations of 7ft doors. Iāll just have to measure mine in case the door does hang a little low.
Thanks for putting out there what I think appeals to me about the LC. A comfortable way to travel through city or country. With more off-roading capability than I need in case the country side of it leads to some unmaintained roads. Itās just a great blend of everywhere travel. I have to be...
Ugh. Thatās where wherever in the 90s the price falls, I almost think Toyota has the upper hand in showrooms now. If youāre laying out basically 6 figures, you hope to do that only once a decade. Nothingās cheap any longer, but surely this has to be exploring the top end of price that people...
