Anyone using the electric over hydraulic braking (under 5000 lb) instead of the standard electric braking full time? I have switched between the 2 a few times and haven’t noticed a huge down tick in battery charging when using eoh. In my opinion eoh is a much more solid brake pedal feeling...
Check my recent posts from like 30 minutes ago. I uploaded some pics of the lights in action. they are maybe 10 degrees from center on those pics. they fill in the dark spots between the roof side lights and headlights/grill light bar, perfectly. didn't notice glare on the hood at all. they also...
I had a kill switch installed last week and had the guy take a stab at the relay box install. I dont think he was the brightest bulb. Dont like the location he chose so I will probably move it some point soon.
Installed a relay/fuse box for aux lights
Ignition kill switch under my driver seat
Ditch lights finished. all lights including bar, rack and ditch lights are extreme LED.
I had someone install my kill switch and while he was at it I had him take a stab at the relay box install as pictured. He...
Did you replace the blank next to the tow/haul button yet? I replaced that with my Ditch light switch but I couldn't figure out how to get that last trim clip out on the far right side of that trim just under the MTS knob. I ended up getting the switch wired without getting it out but would be...
I think the center console is pretty immovable because the hybrid engine is under there. Otherwise they probably would have made a lower front section similar to the BS where your knee can stick out
@SkookumOffroad can you make an alternate version with a storage cubby where those 3 buttons are? I have filled the other 3 blank locations I have and that's all I want in the short term. Just looking for another spot to put junk.
yeah its not bad most of the time. I'd say my thighs are a lil bit more chunky than yours but the 2 design elements they could've done differently are the window controls moved to that top panel and the high center console in general but more specifically the MTS panel that blocks my other knee...
Victory4x4's engine skid mounts to the tow points on the front rather than the radiator bracket. Even though I have the upgraded first edition skids, I will be switching to that soon because the radiator issue scares me.
I am not sure but it looks like at least 1 or 2 bolts go into that radiator bracket. If so, then I am staying far far away from this. If you search radiator on this forum you will see several folks have bottomed out the front end off roading and broke the weld on that radiator bracket thus...
Are you talking about the GX bumper when you say it doesn't require removal of the front grille? The LC Hybrid bumper has a disclaimer that you will have to remove the bumper to install. I took the bumper off to install a light bar, huge pain but that's how I know if any of it has to come off...
Why wouldn't you just use the passenger side terminal on the fuse box? does that not provide enough amps for a winch? i have seen others hooking up air compressor with lights and other accessories to that with a bus bar.
I have found the HF 5/8 grommet and turquoise silicone cap (poked through the wires) work great in place of that plug as I now have like 8 or 9 wires running through that hole. keeps everything in and water tight to my experience and we have gotten a ton of rain recently here in TX.
