12V battery is there to run the auxiliary electronics and also to power the backup starter.
normal starting functionality controlled by the hybrid motor and the HV battery, but a traditional starter is there as a backup.
There are two batteries - the HV battery that powers the hybrid system under the trunk area, and a standard 12V for auxilary electronics. EDIT - the Motor Generator is used to start the motor and powered by the HV battery.
This is the adapter I used in my Tundra, the connector is identical for the Land Cruiser. https://dongar.tech/products/toyota5pin
Attached is the PDF install guide for how to install the dashcam. If you want to use your own dashcam, you can skip a lot of the instructions. The important part is...
There's also wiring for a dashcam in the upper light dome. The adapter to convert that to a USB-A is like $20. That would easily power a dashcam or radar.
I have both my dashcam and radar detector powered with that dashcam socket in my Tundra. Planning on moving both over to my LC when it gets...
I have the KO3s on my Tundra TRD Pro - replacing the OEM Wildpeaks. They are LOUD. Way louder than the wildpeaks, and almost as loud as the KM3s that I had on my Tacoma years ago. Trying to sell them now so I can get another set of wildpeaks.
when I sold my Tacoma and Bronco, the dealer matched what Carvana was offering. That was also during the time of ridiculously inflated used car prices and vehicles that held their value, so I may have just gotten lucky.
Yeah they added basically all of the port installed options - Cross bars, connectivity kit, Cargo net, premium floor mats, illuminated door sills, vehicle protection package, and the rear organizer. Granted, some of that was stuff I wanted anyways, and the others are easily removable or cheap...
I saw a heritage blue LC premium with my almost exact desired options that was on the Toyota inventory site in the build phase. I called and asked if it was already sold, they said no, and I said I wanted it.
No waitlist, the whole process took maybe 30 min. They sent me a build sheet, I asked...
Here are the ones I talked to in DFW for a heritage blue LC Premium
1. Longo Toyota Prosper - MSRP, but some dealer added options totaling about 3k. They have a waitlist. They didn't take a deposit from me because i've gotten several vehicles from them, but another person i know said they took...

Same! I'm usually in office a couple times a month, sending you a PM so we can hang out sometime!
I won't at HQ for a few months, I'm about to come back from paternity leave and will stay home until my newborn has all of his shots.
The Toyotas were cheating for me. I work for Toyota so I'm able to get them cheap and not lose too much when I resell them after a year.
The Bronco was a mistake.
I also always have a fun weekend toy. Been through a 91 miata racecar, a 2017 86, 2005 Honda S2000, and now the Cayman.
Hey yall, my name is Moe.
Long Time Toyota owner, first time getting an LC. I just confirmed my purchase of a Heritage Blue LC + Premium pkg that will be arriving sometime in July.
I currently have a 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and a 2007 Porsche Cayman. My wife has a 2023 Mercedes GLC. In the...
