No App update so far and last time I looked at the other website it was still saying in transit from Factory - I suppose it will update in time but it has been a rather poor App - if it wasn't for you chaps on here and Marine Tracker we would have missed the experience of following it to the UK...

Looks like the Bishu Highway is about to Dock - Marin Traffic shows it in the Bristol Channel just off the coast I spoke to my dealer - nice guy but not very informed - he is seeing a collection date of mid October and said he would follow up with Toyota GB on the insurance situation

mine says โ€œmid Octโ€ with zero precision on actual date and so I have made him aware others have greater specificity and pressed for greater clarity

Land Cruiser Trim headlight swap to First Edition Lights

Brilliant selection - we need to find an importer into the UK of that gear - could definitely be tempted by some of those items

Seems like the vehicles are unloaded and taken to some location in the midlands for checks before they are delivered to the dealers which may explain the long delays between arrival at Bristol and arriving at the dealers I have Toyota Insurance checking the position on cover - once itโ€™s...

Saw a report that the sailing time to Bristol is around 5 days so if the vessel leaves tonight they could be unloading Mon/Tue next week - then presumably they leave them parked up at Portbury for longer than the entire journey time from Japan ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ to ensure we get the vehicles in late October

My dealer is saying โ€œmid-Octoberโ€ is showing on the system He is also at least in the initial response out of touch on UK insurance - as one of you highlighted even the Toyota Insurance system is incapable of providing quotes on the 2024 LC 250 because itโ€™s not listed on their online pick list...

And via the Marine Traffic App I see the Bishu Highway is docked in Sagunto and there is a Toyota importation place right there It will be interesting to see what the AIS says about its next destination when it leaves port - will it sail round to another Northern European port or sail direct...

Have any of you UK buyers addressed insurance yet? I am with Admiral and checked yesterday and whilst they have insured older LCs they currently do not have the 250 on their systems and Iโ€™m told canโ€™t offer cover on it unless and until it is listed I have asked them to escalate to...

What do you more experienced guys think about the BFGโ€™s For an FE on 18 inch wheels which do you lean towards 265/65 R18 BF GOODRICH ALL TERRAIN TYRE KO2 117R Or 265/60 R18 The vehicle seems to be coming on 265/70 R18 but with for less nobbly rubber

I found the answer to my own question โ€œ Here's what I was able to find: When comparing BF Goodrich KO3 tires to KO2 tires, several key differences stand out. Off-Road Performance: The KO2 tires are well-regarded for their exceptional off-road capabilities, particularly in challenging...

As I have said I have had the Grabbers a few times and my current L322 has them - the KO3 s do look good - not sure about the difference between KO2 and KO3 What size do you plan to get - the stock 18 inch seem to be 265 70 R 18

Bridgestone - I thought the FE had 265 70 R18 Michelin Trail LTX I have seen the footage of journalists and motoring influencers driving it on trails with those stock tyres and it seems to be very accomplished I canโ€™t see I like the way they look but I may well give it the first year on the...

UK gallon of course โ€œIs a UK gallon the same as a US gallon? The Imperial gallon is a unit of volume in the imperial system of units, where the US gallon is used exclusively in the United States. The imperial gallon is 20% larger than the US gallon. The gallon is commonly used to measure...

Itโ€™s a fair question - the differences are more style (lights/two tone colour/seats/flaps) adaptations (18 not 20 wheels) and the fundamentals seem to be pretty much identical I had expected HUD and maybe Pan roof would be reserved for the FE so you got clear value for the ยฃ5k but to a material...

Itโ€™s weird - think there is a good chance we have all paid different deposits as well Ah well hereโ€™s hoping the vehicle is worth it after all this time - my L322 replacement has been a saga with a new Range Rover and then a Grenadier ordered and cancelled Feels weird ordering a vehicle I...
