I assume it wants higher revs before it will let you shift into M4. Does the auto not shift into 4th gear in LO? I agree that the vehicle is not comfortable relative to other 4WD at higher speeds in LO.

I think a true 34-35" tire with a small proper lift may be ideal. But the effort to carry a spare becomes substantial.

All real AT tires add some noise. My tires are new but I think a loss of 1 mpg is probably a good guess. We do get some energy recapture with the hybrid from spinning up heavy tires. And at constant speed on the highway there isn't much weight penalty. But these AT4 is particular are very heavy...

Toyota has always had rougher/higher power 4 cylinders in their trucks compared to their cars. Nothing has changed in 2024, although the hybrid engine on/off makes the engine noise more noticeable. I'm sure Toyota's unibody SUVs are quieter.

Method 316 Titanium 17x8 | 6x5.5 | 25/5.44" Tires are Falken AT4 285/70R17 C rated, which is a true 33" tire. The C rated tire shows a bit of radial bulge at 35 psi, which is what I wanted compared to an E rated tire.

I went with method 17" with I think 25mm offset. My tires are 285 and with more poke than ideal, but I'll get extended mud flaps. I had 20" stock and I didn't see a reason to buy 18" wheels

Land keeping requires fighting lane keeping occasionally. Tesla and I'm sure others are much better at this function. I'm unclear as to the relationship between lane keeping and adaptive cruise control.

I have 285/70/17. So far works well. I went with C rated Falken AT4. Don't like the weight. Don't like the poke. Like the 3 ply sidewall. Method has sold a great many 17 inch wheels for our vehicle and no one is complaining.
