Cool, enjoy your stay in Tokyo! FYI, you can buy all the genuine accessories through the dealerships however, all the genuine parts are distributed through Toyota’s subsidiary company called Toyota Mobility Parts (Formerly called Toyota Kyohan). I used to buy genuine parts directly from them not...
I used the tire size calculator and achieved almost the same tire diameter from the original size. I don’t think the ground clearance didn’t change much
I’m curious to know whether my Canadian spec 1958 was built at Tahara or Hamura. Unfortunately, my window sticker was removed prior to the delivery. Hope someone knows the plant code in the VIN. I have to say Hino assembled LC250 follows the same quality control and as good as Tahara built ones...
Hi mayonayze, I’ve seen 18” five spoke steel rims for older Tundras but, not sure they fit LC250 or not. I’m pretty sure you can get aftermarket one no problem.
I’ve traveled in Baja with my moto handful times, but first time with 4wheel. Drove in deep sand, on rough rocks and water. My LC250 performed much better than expected! Stock suspension provided very smooth ride as well. Overall I’m very pleased with my new ride 😊
Hi IceCap1958, can you share the part# for the steel wheel in silver if you successfully find it? I guess the center caps are sold separately so the part# for that as well 🙏 I just wanna try both colors. Whichever I decide not to use, I’ll sell them to somebody else
Hi, I’m driving down to Baja from western Canada with my kids now and I was thinking about the same thing! I was gonna put my kid’s LEGO tire 🛞 over the knob lol. If there’s a product out there I’d love to buy it
Yeah I looked at the actual Curt product too. I’m trying to achieve tight fitment and it doesn’t stick out too much. I was thinking about cutting this and make it shorter, but the square part is solid forged steel and I felt it’s gonna be overkill. So I’ve decided to use this product below and...
I was hoping to find one in silver too. I was just happy to find the genuine rims even though ‘24 Taco 17 inch steelies are in dark metallic grey. I got tired of net surfing to be honest
At the first I just tried with the genuine steelies for 4Runner. 👎 Don’t make the same mistake! Bolt pattern is the same but the offset is totally off (ET15) and the wheels stick out like 50mm from the fender. Center bore is larger for Runner rims. 24 Taco base wheels are bang on everything matches!
