I would personally use this type of gland.

Keep the hole on top small enough to pass your conductor. Seal the edges of the gland with some Dicor or Geocel. Use a grommet on the hole. I would keep the glands in an area of the headliner/pillar areas easy to access.
I think it depends on the area. In Southern California, it’s can be swing and miss. 1958 models seem to sell with some discount. Again, depends on the area. Some sales people are hungry, others not so much. My opinion is that MSRP is the most one should pay. The demand will eventually slow to a...
IMO, that is a sub. EOD has a thread that he removed the rear trim panel. Maybe a shallow mount 20cm Pioneer can fit there?

For me, I have a Viair 450P. As much as I use it, I just pop the LC hood and clip on to the jumper terminal. It’s a direct battery connection. And no other modifications necessary.
Lowe’s has them. Looks to be $35 or so. I have a wrench paired with this to travel with.

I feel your pain. I replaced the 2 Ford junk batteries with 2 Odyssey’s and it was maybe around 780.00. The Ford battery on the passenger side was leaking and starting to corrode the terminal.
I also have a Powerstroke- noises are normal- As long as the LC starts when I push the button, I’m happy. I could care less about ticks, clicks and suction sounds. Normal for modern engines and their delivery systems.
The “service plug” is a safety item to block the high voltage so that a tech can service the system. I don’t believe it could be modified for external power delivery.
In CA, storage and transport laws are oppressive. Probably not a good practice here. But at least AZ is a free state. You need to work to keep it that way.
I had Bridgestone AT Revo on our Toyota Sequoia and I didn’t personally like them. I thought they felt soft and squishy. IMO, the vehicle didn’t feel confident. I, personally, will not use Bridgestone. Maybe these tires are better?
IMO, if you connect the vehicle to your panel and you do not have some sort of interlock, if the power happens to return when your vehicle is attached to your panel, your vehicle will lose. In addition, it could catch fire. Backfeeding a panel with this vehicle, IMO, is not advisable. I have...
Yep- I think it is 3M VHB. It seems to adhere very good. I used that area because the other parts of the dash are a soft material. Also Ram Mounts has lifetime warranty, even if the adhesive comes loose.
