Your RPM gauge will be at zero. There is also a hybrid gauge that you can assign to the center screen (though you can have both the engine and electric motor running at the same time).
There are around 15k reported sales. But any car with upright windshield is prone to damage. People were famously joking that FJ Cruiser's needed a new windshield every oil change
They are dealer add-ons. My dealer mentioned that they can install it for free, but I declined. In my opinion these small PPFs look terrible after 2-3 years on light colored cars when the dirt and road grime start to buildup on the edges.
I do this as well, with a car wash that does final rinse with distilled water. Water here is so hard that hand washing turns into a whole mess unless you completely wipe it dry.
They are equally noisy to be honest. They use the exact same engines. The only difference is the potential absence or presence of engine covers.
Their truck engines are not more powerful. In fact, they sometimes use detuned versions of more powerful engines in their trucks. Like the 3.5 V6...
Yeah, keeping it at auto and lowering the set temperature is the simplest way. If you set the temp to lowest setting, it will blow cold air at max. Generally though, setting it at 65 or so will be more than enough.
You can put it out of auto, crank the temp to lowest setting and manual set the...
Prius can do #3, it can do it a lot better than LC as well.
LC can do actual engine breaking, it is even in the manual. Part of the engine breaking in this case is also coming from the electric motor (regen breaking) depending on how much power battery is willing to accept, and the rest is...
I wish electric motor gauge had an opposite direction to show how much regenerative breaking is being applied. They have this on their regular hybrids where the gauge is split between Charge/Power. It is very helpful if one wants to apply just enough pressure to slowdown or maintain speed...
It is a hybrid, so the amount of regenerative breaking is controlled by the break pedal. So it feels similar to other ICE cars as the electric motor does not create counter resistance unless the brake pedal is depressed.
On a fully electric vehicle with one-pedal driving, regenerative breaking...
