What PapaSmurf said…. Use your turn signal and LCA won’t engage. Problem solved. Plus, it’s just courteous to the folks around you. Like the idiot racing down the dotted line on a motorcycle weaving between traffic. Don’t you think he could use a little hint you are about to change lanes...
If you hold your hand in the drivers handle for 2 seconds, all of the doors should unlock. I was using this but it seemed too slow, so I changed it so that when I put my hand around the drivers door handle, all of the doors unlock at the same time.
Had to really think about what the OP was talking about… I have never pushed the Mode Select button to try to start the LC. Maybe it’s because I came from a truck that started with a key and the start button is in essentially the same place as the key hole…

I absolutely agree! I used the Xpel Prime XR+ ceramic tint…
1 - Did 70% on the windshield and all back windows with the factory tint, 30% on the front passenger windows, and 50% on the sunroof…
2 - I live in FLORIDA…
3 - My wife’s car gets the garage, so the LC is relegated to the sunshine 100%...
Make sure WiFi is on and you are connected to your LC’s network (I believe the network name is Smartphone something or other). CarPlay has to be connected via WiFI…
DFW, what do you mean by “hands free tailgate?” You can open and close it from the button on the dash, and obviously, the button on the tailgate itself. Maybe I just don’t understand what you’re looking for…
