Nice! Town & Country had one allocated to them that I was wanting and I had it switched over to Hendrick Toyota up in Concord (we’ve used them for years). Brought it home to see its granddaddy too!
Picked up my Windchill Pearl LC w/Premium last week. (Traded in my '15 TRD Pro 4Runner). This is an absolutely amazing ride. We have a '23 Sequoia so I knew what to expect with the hybrid setup and the LC does not disappoint. Thought I pose it with my FJ62 to see some of the similarities.

Thanks for sharing that. I was trying to find it earlier! I haven't heard the 300 referred to as light duty but yeah I guess it would be. Towing capacity is one of the main thing that separates the two besides all the mechanical.
Forgot to mention (because it wasn't that relevant) that having...
Land Cruiser 250 (Prado) is a light duty Land Cruiser. It is just as capable as the Land Cruiser 300 which is also built on the same TNGA platform. Obvious differences between the two are overall size, engine size, differential size, and transmission.
(without making a comprehensive list, I...
I'm in Charlotte as well (Indian Land, SC specifically). I've only seen 2 LC's so far; a black FE and blue LC. The blue LC was parked but no one in it, otherwise I would have totally asked to check it out!
I'm waiting on mine which is supposed to come in sometime in August. (I need to check on...
I LOVE Sport mode with the hybrid motor. But I think it really only shines when you're in traffic/highway situations where you need to be a bit more nimble and have quicker responses to what's happening around you. (Coming from a Hybrid Sequoia)
This morning I saw the Land Cruiser I’m wanting (LC Premium in Windchill w/java leather and 18" wheels) but it was allocated to a different dealership in my area.
The dealership we use called me this evening with their usual allocation update but it wasn’t the specific ext/int color combo I was...
May be the same noise present in the Sequoia/Tundra hybrids. We hear it from our Sequoia. Have you been through any kind of drive through and noticed it more? (Where sound would bounce off the wall or car next to you).
For what it’s worth, I read in one of the Sequoia Facebook groups that...
I put in my request for a Windchill Pearl with Java interior (Premium package w/leather). I've turned down three allocations so far. I don't mind waiting.
That's excellent insight! Thanks a ton for sharing it. Hopefully that will put some minds at ease.
I got my '15 TRD Pro 4Runner from Hendrick Toyota Concord in a dealer trade; they had a TRD Pro Tundra coming that another dealer wanted and the deal worked out really well.
Same. I'm getting the Land Cruiser trim so 18" wheels and larger tires will be first. I keep looking for suspension updates from Dobinsons and OME. That would keep me from getting 33's up front and push me toward 35's.
I prefer them as it is a great nod to the FJ62, which I've had since '97. Square headlights just wouldn't give the same look as the narrower rectangular lights of the 62 series. But I get those that like the round headlights.
That’s one of the reasons I’m so excited about the new LC. Double the HP/Torque compared to the 4Runner aside, that inline in the Sequoia is amazing and really packs a punch
Count yourself lucky! My '89 FJ62 I've had since '97 has "got to go" if I'm going to do the new LC. It's currently at the shop waiting to have the axle seal replaced and a new master cylinder. As soon as it's done it's gone. I'm ok with it though. I haven't driven it in years and I'm ready for...
That's absolutely wild. I don't think ours will put any MA on it, but it's going to be hard to find regardless. Honestly my biggest hesitation is the color choices for the FE.
(Already commented this in another post, but forgot to make my own post!)
Hey everyone! I'm located in Indian Land, SC (basically Charlotte, NC).
I still have my original 1989 FJ62, my daily is a 2015 TRD Pro 4Runner, and my wife just got a 2023 Sequoia Platinum.
So psyched for the new LC...
