Our vehicles were on the same ship. My dealer last week said his system showed mine now processing on the July 11th but it originally showed processing on June 29th. Delivery window has now slipped to July 16th-August 13th. He said set expectations towards the end of the delivery window. Agree...
Found the comment I was referring to. it's on Land Cruiser subreddit. Curious if PDXoriginal posts on here as well. At least people are trying to compare the beams. Hopefully we'll get some comparison pictures/video within the next few weeks.
The person just phrased it as too dim but that could be too short of distance as well. If you look at the design of the round headlight, the LED does not go in a full circle and the top of the light is flat which is what is causing the pattern mentioned above.
I recently read one comment on the rectangular lights being too dim and the person leaving the auto high beams on for this reason. Can anyone who has rectangular lights speak to this? Are all 3 projectors used while low beams are on? Time for a side by side video done with the same stretch of...
Surprised we haven’t seen a comparison yet by any YouTube reviewers or owners. Surely this is a win for team rectangular over round. Now the round team needs to decide if exterior retro looks trump real world performances. They seem bright enough, just a little distracting with the pattern which...
First edition really boils down to the headlights. The cost to switch will require a few parts from the bumper assembly plus ~$1,000 per headlight. If you don’t plan to keep the FE stock and plan to exchange the rock rails, rack, add different wheels etc the FE doesn’t make sense unless you...
Hard to say but the 200 series was in more limited supply and was phased out in the US so there is increased demand for fewer vehicles. The new 4 Runner shares a lot of similarities with the LC250 which also puts some downward pressure on resale value. Only time will tell with the many variables...
Do you have any plans to offer something similar to the Jaos side steps which don’t stick out as far? I like your design but a little worried about how far out they stick.
Found this to be an interesting post on a Highlander forum regarding regenerative breaking and downhill behavior of Toyota hybrid vehicles:
“So here is my experience from my wife's Lexus NX 350h, which basically has the same ~240hp combined powertrain as the Highlander (RAV4 and Camry have the...
You’re definitely more of an expert than I am so I’ll take your word and leave it at that. Just seems like an odd thing to give to Canadian market and not the US
You would think that would be the case. With their impressive manufacturing facilities and parts delivery system and the ability to run different vehicles on the same lines maybe they have it running so efficiently it does save them some money? The US is a bigger market than Canada so I could...
Have some time today I can play around with this. Are you looking at the front and rear only or would you like to see the fender trim as well?
Any specific trim colors you would like to see?
Thanks for checking. I just like the convenience of keeping hands on the wheel. Manually using the gear shifter isn’t a big deal, it’s just a preference after driving vehicles with paddle shifters. Sounds like it’s not worth it in this instance. Wonder why Toyota left them off in the US other...
I've seen other vehicles where if they are specced in other markets for the same vehicle it's not that difficult to add them. You can always add an aftermarket set. I like them when driving in the mountains for engine breaking which is the only time I really use them. I think I remember reading...
Do any of the US spec Land Cruisers come with paddle shifters? I know certain trims in other countries show them but so far I have not seen them on the US spec. Does anyone know if these could be added easily or would that require a different wiring harness? Seems like a strange item to leave...
