Looks like Carista has officially added the J250 and updated some of the changes you can make on Toyota vehicles. I'm curious what the image distortion correction on the HUD will allow you to change. Also says you can add the ECO mode indicator to the HUD now.
Do you use Apple Carplay? Easy solution is to use Apple Carplay and Siri. You can set your home and work and any other favorite addresses so they are easily accessible and can be called up with Siri. it does have a few quirks. Some of the apps like Spotify will stop playing sound while Siri is...
If you want the best weather forecasting I have come across for North America with insight into what drives the weather patterns, check out Eric Snodgrass from Nutrien Ag Solutions on youtube. They provide weather information for people in the ag business. They are lengthy forecasts but once you...
I can report I was a big fan until this morning. I was on a 4 lane highway in the right hand lane with Traffic Jam Assist doing it's thing like normal. Still had my hand on the wheel going about 20 mph next to a semi trailer hauling a few items. All of a sudden without warning the vehicle...
In the app, make sure the Remote button is selected. Above the Start button in the center, there is a little up arrow. Click on that and it opens several options including the climate settings to control temp and heated or cooled seats, defrost etc.

I don’t have any problem with how the seat warmers are performing. Too hot and you run the risk of burning out the heating elements over time. Toyota designs for longevity and reliability.

The My Drives is on the iOS app if you pull down from the top to open the multi day screen. Scroll down to the bottom and make sure it isn't turned on. From what i've read, it is off by default
You have to enable My Drives for them to sell the info to insurance companies. Also, make sure you check Do Not Sell my personal information in the privacy settings.
You might think about charging up the 12v battery if you have a charger or checking to make sure the connections are tight. Seems like this may be a possible culprit to these warnings from others with the same issue.
FYI, I took the LC camping up around 10,580 feet and the vehicle would not shut the engine off at that altitude even with the inverter not drawing any power. Something to consider for people who might be expecting the engine to cycle on and off to heat the cabin overnight or use the inverter...
Time to have someone who has access to a dyno / a Land Cruiser and Tacoma with the same power plants to do some testing with 93 /91 / 87 octane (no ethanol) and see what the results are. Maybe Ed Martin Toyota who keeps putting out helpful YouTube videos on the Land Cruiser will give this a go...
This is a known design flaw. The plastic is cracking when they are installed and normal use just weakens them until they snap. Hopefully Toyota improves the design and releases a fix or we can get replacement parts from Toyota from future models. If you look in prior threads posted on this same...
