Congrats! I'm waiting on the same. People seem to have very mixed feelings about that color, I'm not sure why? It's my first choice. Also the premium package I guess, but I'm also wanting that.
To add: for height, going off the official Toyota number of 76.1" for the 1958, the mid trim with rails would be around 79" tall, the First Edition/optional rack more like 80" on the stock tires. I recall seeing a real world measurement that was just a little less than that? It's going to be...
It sounds like whatever you get, you need to get better (off road capable) tires. (What does a Crown look like with Baja Boss tires?)
A RAV4 Prime plug in hybrid is going to use basically no gas around town, and (if you get good off-road tires) will probably get you most places you want to go...
Does anyone have good pictures and/or measurements of what kind of clearance the calipers have with these or other 17" wheels? I'm tempted by the Method wheels but I'd rather they were 18".
For off-road use I'd be concerned about how vulnerable that location is. Landing on your spare is one thing, landing on your gas tank is another. Source: a misspent youth off-roading vehicles that were not intended to be off-roaded and occasionally ending up with holes in my gas tank.
The 707's come in 18", not as much offset though.
Edit: 701's and 705's also.

On my FJ the main thing I want is brighter street legal high beams for dark rural highways and roads, as opposed to off road lights. Hopefully the LC's lights will be enough better that I won't need that, but if not I'll probably stick with SAE/DOT approved lights. I don't have any personal...
The food would be worth it though. No one else makes green chile right.
Itโs probably not just New Mexico, I just happened to check there because I was in NM a little while ago. Toyota makes puzzling regional decisions like this.
I haven't checked yet but 20" wheels might be mostly a first batch thing? A little while back when I checked the ones coming to California mostly had the 20" wheels, ones heading to New Mexico didn't. I'm not in a hurry so I've told my dealer no 20" wheels. I don't want pay extra for...
In case this is useful to anyone else, I started a spreadsheet of options for the stock 18" wheels -- specs plus if anyone here has confirmed they don't rub turning or at full flex. (That second one is a bit tricky.) I'm still slowly adding more options including the data TumeloCruzer already...
I saw in another post that the B.F. Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 275/70R18 "barely fits" in the spare location.
I started a table (focused on what fits and works on the stock 18" wheel). I also saw a larger table someone posted before with info for many more tires but I can't find it any...
Yeah I saw that video and really ended up liking the way the lighter colored wheels look with the heritage blue. I can't decide how it would look with trail dust.
I've been pondering putting a set of these (driving light version) behind the grill. I'm not sure what's back there to mount to? These are small enough that they shouldn't cut air flow much
Stage Series 6" SAE/DOT White Light Bar (pair).
Both our current and previous (hybrid) cars have > 500 mile ranges. When you're driving around/across Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, etc. it's nice not to worry about where the next gas station is. My FJ on the other hand, I'm lucky to go 250 miles between fill ups. The LC will be an improvement...
The mid trim (LC) comes with running boards. Probably soon some people will be replacing them with rock rails and you'll be able to get some cheap.
I know Greenlane plans to make LC versions of their light duty rock rails once LCs start showing up in Canada...
I'd love to have a huge table of tire sizes (and brands) with "fits in the spare location" and "doesn't rub at full turn" and "doesn't rub at full flex" (with and without swayer disconnect).
I've been here for a while, but here's my introduction. A brief history of my Toyotas:
I've started looking for a suitable replacement for my 2014 FJ TTUE MT. I had an AWD Subaru between the pickup and the first FJ, and briefly a rented Jeep with full time 4WD, and I refuse to live without...
Thanks all for this thread and info. On my FJ I have a multi outlet adapter powered with a fuse tap to the fuse box under the dash -- it doesn't look like the Land Cruiser has a fuse box in the cabin?
