Yep, for sure, boys will be boys. 82 here, and springing for a LC/Premium. Did a LOT of off-roading in my younger years, motorcycles, ATV's, you name it. Now time for comfort. Will I really get off the beaten track much? Probably not, but I want the ability to go off-road if I see something that...
Sadly, it appears the SE Toyota distributer is allowed free reign in regard to add-ons. Thankfully here in the West they seem to be minimal. The lack of concern by Toyota is disturbing, or just arrogance. Regarding the engine noise, have noticed several posts in this regard. One owner is...
Oh wow, NO off-roading! Never visited your neck of the woods, but my life would be empty without venturing off-road. Long in the tooth now, not nearly as adventurous, but have explored virtually all of southern Nevada, discovering abandoned mines and ghost towns. However, I can relate to not...
Yep, Stones. Just purchased a Sienna for our senior center from Teton, and they "know the drill", but did not feel cheated. Myself and the family have purchased several vehicles from Stones with no issues. Best not to put any trust in any stealership. Stones is walking distance, and throws in...
Vent I must also!!! The dealer is playing games, but allegedly am the next in line. Albeit, a very small dealership (they also sell Jeep/Ram), but they refused to accept a deposit until after the owner and friends of friends got theirs.
Sure hope this is bogus info, i.e. they run for hours idling at the port facility. Possibly I am old school, but conventional wisdom has maintained this is NOT the proper method to break in an engine. The owner's manual does not address this specific scenario, but it does indicate not to operate...
Way to go, and welcome to the forum! Take that rig out to the S. Cal desert! Also owned an FJ62, and it was as tough as nails, albeit not a freeway cruiser.
Welcome Imwong! It is my understanding that leather comes with the Premium package, actually much to my dismay, as I wish the package, but with Softex. In our dry/hot climate, have had bad luck with Toyota leather, even with regular treatment.
Hello Charity, and welcome to the forum! The eye sensor is failing to see you? Speaking of the HUD, they cannot not be seen well when wearing polarized sunglasses.
Welcome! Question, is the LC considerably easier for the wife to enter/exit? I am faced with the same issue, although we do not have a high vehicle at present, rather a Highlander with running boards. The trouble is, the Highlander is not off-road capable.
Hey there usarian in my native state, which up here in redneck Idaho it is best not to admit. :( Actually, all my adult life was in Nevada, then here to retire, WHAT was I thinking? From Nevada with no state income tax, and no tax on groceries, and last, but not least, cheap gas compared to your...
Truth is, don't have it anymore, regretfully. Those inline 6-cylinders were bulletproof, but gutless. But soon, hopefully, a new LC! Slow moving, little clout, small dealership.
Hello Bobbyreds. Welcome to the forum! Off-Roading is where it is at! Been doing it since I was a young man, and 82 now. Don't know about your neck of the woods, but here in the west, especially Nevada, there are a lot of "public lands" to roam on.
Welcome aboard handy! You lucky duck! We are still waiting, but soon I hope. Even in my (very) senior years I enjoy the tech. In fact, it has saved me from some potential mishaps with our Highlander.
