Strangely, the GX Overtrail omits 3-zone HVAC, and the overhead vents. Probably would not risk the V6 at this juncture. However, do like the suspension, i.e. front and rear disconnect, for serious off-roading.
Would be great, but it seems I read somewhere it may be later in the year, or the beginning of next. The 2025 Camry in on the Toyota site/configurator, so there is hope...
Welcome to the forum! I suspect at this juncture only Toyota knows of the changes for 2025, and when. Still in the queue myself, and as small and little clout our dealer has, it may be a 2025 model for us. Would love to see the availability power running boards, as are on the GX Luxury+ and...
Great to hear. My wife is just the opposite, always liked the trucks we have owned, not especially from a driving perspective, but as a passenger sitting higher with great visibility.
Being a new vehicle on the street, would wager it would take months to obtain the parts. Is your reason for swapping the dismal reports of the coverage of the round headlights, or just a dislike of the styling? I'm with you, as once owned an FJ62, and it would be great step back.
Anxious to hear their response, but would not get my hopes up. However, most owners are reporting in the neighborhood of 22-23 MPG for moderate driving. Obviously not at Interstate speeds.
My opinion, and of a Toyota insider, but some disagree, the suggested requirement for premium fuel is to achieve a MPG goal. Reports from owners are that the round headlights are marginal. No info on the rectangular, but hopefully better.
It is a turbo 4-banger, coupled to an 8-Speed, and will impress, especially compared to your 4Runner. Yes, the convention is the FE is somewhat over-priced, but personally would still go for it. The rock-sliders certainly will not suffice for running boards, if needed, no foot room to speak of...
Sorry/surprised to hear how badly you assess the interior noise. Admittedly not compared to a Range Rover by the Toyota shills, but many remarked it was relatively quiet. However, we know who butters their bread. Good to hear an honest assessment.
Wow! I cringe to think what my economy will be on the interstate highways at 80 MPH and a tad... However, it is a non-aerodynamic box. And running premium fuel to boot...
Welcome Montana-Land. In your favor, the 1958 trim level may not be too difficult to procure. Personally, holding out for the LC trim with the Premium pkg, as it will be our only vehicle.
Yes, but the test tracks were not generally in rough/rocky situations, such as the hard rock mine debris we encounter in Nevada. However, agree with Lineman, for the OP, I think not an issue.
They will probably ride a bit rougher, but corner better. Personally, I like the look of the 20" wheels over the 18", and since you are not an off-roader, no big deal.
Made the same comment to our salesperson, and received the same response, i.e. basically a blank stare. If it isn't on the lot, and they cannot sell it that day, we are on the back burner for sure.
