Some good visor molle panels with bungees for glasses, pens, flashlights etc. I had them in my jeep and they worked well. The company also makes head and backrest panels:

For storage, I’ve also used these as an alternative to the yeti bags:

Garmin has a switch box that is compatible with CarPlay now. Probably a good clean option for the LC given the limited real estate. Probably what I’ll do if/when I add any accessories.

I added a hot water spigot last winter as I got tired of cold driveway car/dog washes here in the PNW, so a hot pressure wash and a occasional touchless with the undercarriage spray to keep the road grime at a minimum.
Does anyone have a favorite off the shelf wash/wax? Also any recommendations...
Thanks for explaining, I was reading up on how the magnetism works - this makes sense now. Seems like the transformer would work, I’m just not sure I want to be the guinea pig though…
The 2000w would work well for my panel and application. I’ve already installed a 30A inlet box and plug, and I’m only planning to power 120V fuses on the panel with my generator/LC as the 240V (oven & AC) draw too much (leaving those alone).
I’ll probably wait a bit to see what others decide...

Front Runner Stratchet bungee tie downs for the anchor points in the back. In tandem these work great and are very affordable...
Exactly, thanks for sharing the why. This was a pretty easy/clean install, albeit my brother helped me and knew what he was doing. Maybe $250 in parts and it worked like a charm with my 2300w Ryobi Inverter Generator (after lockout). I was able to run everything on the panel except for the oven...
Yeah unfortunately Toyota grounded the inverter (for safety reasons) which conflicts with the grounded panel on the house. A shame Toyota didn’t add a switch to sever the ground when needed for this application.. This is the same issue Ford owners had with the PowerBoost.
I think the only...
I’m going to try tomorrow or Thursday as my wife was working from home this afternoon and didn’t want me cutting power and killing Teams 😂
With the interlock, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. The main will be off and I’ll be feeding directly to the house via the fuse panel. Plan to start with...
I bought an Inspired Overland XL which is an ultralight RTT at 86lbs. Light enough for me to take off and put in the garage when we’re not out on the trail. Not going to keep it up on top all the time so I’ll take the fuel hit when I’m using it. Static load limit is 600lbs on the FE rack /...
You should have no problem with the FE rack. It has (4) cross rails with T-slots. Your Yakima will probably attach with the cinch binding straps or the T-slot bolts that it comes with, whichever you prefer.
I have a Fatcat6 that I’ll be putting up on top this winter.
