Another pretty easily modeled trim part would be the rear hatch Trim panel with the "cube" style switch recess and blanks.
Here is my modified trim panel and a proposed new panel.
If you decide to make this as well, I'll be your the test subject for that as well.
Another idea for you would be..... make some switch blanks that match the texture of your trim panel for those that need to add one switch but want to add more switches at a later date.
If it just beeps at you......
If the close button works and the close and lock doesn't...... it might be as simple as the fob isn't in range of the antenna.
If the close button doesn't work ...... it may be as simple as recalibrating the sensor, to recalibrate, simply manually push the hatch...
I highly doubt that in 5K miles any filter would be clogged, unless all of those were in a very dusty environment. As most, if not all, MD isn't dusty, I'd say you're good. They are very easy to check, all you need is a trim tool and or a flashlight.
To answer your question, most older tachs are receiving an input from the distributor so there will be a wire involved (I don't know about the 95 year model)
Probably get better results on the older forum.....
Great advice on "do what you want"............... and I'll add....... Don't rag on people who don't agree with you as they have an opinion just as you do.
It's not a lift assisted feeling as with the Redline kit on my Taco. It's of a "not as heavy" lift, if you let go before the hood is fully raised, it'll slam back down, but after it reaches "full open" it'll stay open and takes a slight amount of force to start it closing. Once you start the...
You might be able to fabricate an "L" shaped bracket that would slip beneath the bumper and bolt to an existing bolt and the other leg of the "L" would be vertical in front of the bumper that you could attach the plate to. It wouldn't need to have a lot of strength as the air would push the...
They weren't 300-500, they were $124. The difference in the JDM and the ones on Ebay/Amazon is the front taper, rears not being capped and 2 doors vs 2 doors and rear side windows (which serve no purpose).
Everything I've done so far can be undone in half a day. The only permanent modifications (holes drilled) are 4 trim panels and two of them wouldn't be noticed by anyone. The other two, rear hatch switch panel and the front "View" button trim under the AC control, are cheap and easily replaced.
Completely a DIY mod. I took apart one of the door projector lights, cut off the mounting tabs. I drilled a hole in the hatch switch panel the same size as the clear lens but not as big as the black plastic lens housing. I made an alum ring with a inner diameter the same as the round lens...
I think Toyota has a couple of countries that make their filters, the country of manufacture is always printed on the box, if I remember correctly the case I purchased from the parts counter state "Thailand". The carCareNut guy did a video on knock off filters. He said many knock offs state...
