So I had the rear cargo hatch trim off again and I took some pictures of the OEM cargo light. You will also need the square keeper.
Interesting is the hole in the trim panel is round and not square.
I know 2K is a lot for the extra 3 gals, but when Eric gives me the green light, we'll find out how hard the swap will be. The fuel pump is the same part but will need a new gasket. Just waiting to see if the fuel lines are the same. If the fuel pump on the new tank is in the same location...
For me it's the distance between fuel stations, most of the time it's not an issue, but there's a few stretch's between AL and MD that's real sketchy after dark. I'm a leave at 3 in the morning traveler.
It's any format you want.....LOL
If you plan on making many mods I'd suggest you add 3-4 posts and just put an entry as "place holder" That way you can lock up those posts at the top of your build page vs people posting and having 10-20 posts between mods. You can have a max of 20 photos per...
It looks to me that the bottom of the scratches are almost or just barely down to metal. IMO, most DIY color touch ups, unless you know what you're doing, are more noticeable than the original defect. If you decide to do a DIY, you might just use clear to seal the surface.
Getting the strap out of the opening even with the trays removed, then maneuvering the battery out/in while keeping the pos cable arrangement out of the way. I mean it wasn't that hard to do, just a PITA. If the strap had a hinge on the leg, it would have been a breeze.
No, the optima battery is the same size as the OEM battery, just very tight spaces. There are 3 bolts and one nut, all 12mm, one on each side of the battery. Neg cable and adjoining connector relatively easy to disconnect. Leave the neg battery post connect on the battery, the pos cable has...
I don't remember where but there is a setting for the default of speaker, car etc..... I do not remember where I changed the setting, my daughter walked me through it.
To remove the overhead console:
I used an "L" shaped trim tool remover.
Start at the windshield R/H forward edge of the console and pry straight down. ( I use a piece of a plastic milk jug to protect the headliner while prying) once you can get your fingers in the gap, give it a sharp downwards...
Nope, any additions are powered through a resettable circuit breaker, which I leave in the open state. The battery went flat the 1st time, in like the first week I owned it.
