    The hips are 57". Not sure of the shoulder width. It is recommended that for three child car seats at least one has to be no bigger than 17". Also these seat buckle extenders do wonders for finding the buckle in the middle seat...

    A quick review of many LC trims within a 100 miles of Boston shows that Toyota estimates delivery of most of them by Mid July and the latest by mid August.. Looks as if the flood gates have opened.

    Car seats (for children)

    Safety experts say that a seat belt extender will change the position of the buckle and you don't want it on the child. It can also move the belt closer to the child's neck which you don't want. I have seen 3" extenders that might be OK but even those aren't recommended.

    The rear seat is 57" wide. Two seats fit fine but three can be a tight fit. With three, the third seat should be no wider than 17". You may have some trouble reaching the seat belts with the middle seat. Seat belt extenders are not recommended.

    Quality Control Delays!!

    Members have stated that the problem is probably with the moon roof and the delay doesn't seem to effect the 1958 Model which doesn't have that roof.
