Here’s a great tool to find out the plant that your vehicle was manufactured at. Just put in the VIN# and date. The plant info is at the bottom.

Ok, I got welcomed update today by my dealer that my order is scheduled to leave Japan on 6/17 with an average 7-8 weeks delivery to dealership in TN. :) It started build on 6/7.
I know, I don’t know what the determination is as to what plant the particular order is built at. I do know that the one that have on reserve is built in Tahara based on the VIN# that I was given.
As most Land Cruisers are built at this legendary factory in Japan. I thought this would be an interesting watch for fellow LC enthusiasts. It definitely instills confidence me for this purchase.
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing. I have one coming in Aug but can’t wait to test drive as well. There’s a dealer across the street from me that will be getting a 1958 and I’ll see if they’ll let me test drive when it gets in. I’m not buying from them because they’re charging $10k markup. :(
I was wondering if the quality control holds would affect vehicles being built after the holds took effect? I reserved a LC Premium Package on June 6th and the dealer told me it was going to be built on Jun 7th. Would they have built the fix into vehicles once it was discovered?
yeah, I don’t know where the cost is but if they try to add anything when I go to sign the contract and pick it up I’ll reject it. So far they seem the be honest brokers, charging MSRP in sea of other dealers marking up like crazy.
The dealership I’m getting mines from advertises on their website a lifetime warranty for all new and certified preowned cars sold by them. As long as you keep up with the manufacturer suggested maintenance and keep track of it. You can have it serviced anywhere in the United States.
in Tennessee: Johnson City Toyota
I did a search on the smart path search engine and found a Meteor Shower LC Premium that was in build phase and called and talked to the dealer who said they don’t add anything to the MSRP price listed.. I reserved it on the spot and awaiting delivery in August.
Trim/Color: LC Premium/Meteor Shower/Black Leather
Deposit Date: 6/6/24 at an out of state dealer in Johnson City, TN
Dealer/Waitlist: No waitlist, I went onto the website and saw one of the about 8 that they had listed that did not say “pending sale” so I called and was able to reserve it and...
My LC Premium in build phase has 20” wheels that cannot be removed because it is a factory option but the dealer was able to remove all the port options including roof cross bars, floor mats etc. (about $700 worth).
Hello fellow LC enthusiasts!
I’m in metro Atlanta Georgia. I currently have a 2015 Highlander with over 210K miles and looking to trade it out. I just placed a deposit on a Meteor Shower LC trim with premium package and 20” wheels at MSRP due Aug 12. The only thing I don’t want is the 20”...
