Based on the dimensions as measured in another thread on this forum, for the LC between wheel wells is about 43” wide and without wheel wells is about 50” wide. The length with seats folded down is about 72”-75”. The medium size would fit easily based on these measurements.
I would tend to believe that the airbag issue is with the Highlander because I had a local dealer tell me the same thing last week. He said that there is a sell hold on the Grand Highlander due to an airbag problem.

The dealership is in Tennessee. The dealer website listing estimates arrival between 7/10 to 8/12 and there are no port installed options to add so hopefully it will go smoothly.
Welcome to the forum. I’m in the Atlanta area and yes these GA dealers are ridiculous with their markups. I found one in Tennessee at msrp due in by end of month.
My LC just arrived at port earlier today. Anybody know generally how long it takes from arriving at port to processing? Is it hours, days, weeks? Thanks.
I think it goes out of build phase once it is processed at the port. Mines is on a ship to hit the port on tomorrow and is is still showing as build phase and I don’t have a window sticker yet. So I think JoT is correct on this.
While I’m sure this is great advice, how practical is it. For me I average 2k miles a month for work (am I to change the oil every 2.5 months?). As soon as I get mines I’m going to put about 400 miles on it immediately because I’m buying it out of state and driving home. Additionally, I live...
My dealer removed all PIO by SET when I asked him to. But, it was early in the process, a day before the build date. If you ask them before it gets to port I believe they can remove all but factory installed options such as 20” wheels.
You can get updates from your dealer. My dealer told me the date it wa to ship from Japan and I was able to find the ship from a tracking thread on this forum.
I have a LC Premium with 20” wheels on a ship to hit Portland on 6/28. I don’t know if it will be on QC hold because it was built afterwards, but it is estimated to hit my dealer in Tennessee around 8/12 (hopefully sooner 🙂). R5003894 Tahara
I think where people are having a difficult time is reconciling why the 4Runner and Tacoma with exact same engines don not require premium, yet the LC does.
I read this article and actually went through the many ads on their site for Land Cruisers by dealers. When you go to the dealers sites it’s the same old story, “call for price”, or “unlock the price”, or just openly “dealer adjustment, market adjustment, etc.”
I think it’s sort of like Navy pilots and Blue Angel Navy pilots. I’m sure the quality standards are the same for all the factories, however, Tahara, because of its legacy attracts the best and most experienced engineers/technicians. That said, I don’t know what if any difference there would be...
Just checked PenFed rates and currently Navy Fed beats them especially if you’re ex military (.25 discount for military). Also, PenFed requires you use their car buying service to get the best rates.
