I'm not sure we know exactly what the US version looks like. I did a google search and found that a Toyota dealer in PA states panoramic sunroof. So it's entirely possible?! Whereas another website in West Virginia that states only the Camry will have it. <shrugs>
I think it would be...
Heard the rumor that the new LC is the same size as the current 4runner and the new redesign of the future (2025) 4runner will reduce in size with the hybrid train. Later part is alllll rumor, but it does make sense as it would scale the models similarly as they do with the highlander and grand...
US here, I was 8th on the list when I signed up Sept/Oct, and have not been contacted regarding an order. That said, they have my trim and color preferences, I figure that's enough for now until we get a little closer or at least get the US Announcement.
I live in a rural area where most cars are trucks due to the oft time access of a muddy unpaved road and etc, plus the winter weather. That's likely the only off roading I will do, add the power, tow capability, and MPG. I am also in the bucket of great balance. Plus honestly, I love the look.
Holy smokes! That's...an impact!! I love my V6 subie, it's not on deathdoor yet, I have time. It's the value for the buck scenario. The price of the LC with the bells that I want will be the first hurdle, driving it will be the 2nd. Sounds like there are quite a few hybrid models hitting...
I thought I heard a rumor that the 4runner was going through a complete redesign for 2025. Will have the updated infotainment, gadgets, and hybrid train. But just a rumor at this stage, since obviously they are focused on the releases for 2024 currently.
I'm starting to consider staying...
Thanks! After looking at the specs, the MPG, etc. I can safely say, this will not be on my list. We already have a truck that loves to drink gas up. Don't need another. :)
Unfortunately the GX hyper link wasn't workings for me, but the take away for me on this is. Premium may be an option as the general cost likely equals what I was looking for in the LC. Interesting!
I think we saw that the 1958 (the lowest trim) starts at about 55K, I think the First Ed with all the goodies attached was speculated to be closer to 70K. With the standard being somewhere in between.
It's all about those goodies attached.
If the Tesla is like the Starlink, then it'll be a couple of generations before they start using "standard" supported equipment.
Personal opinion that other manufactures do EV better than Toyota, but time will tell.
Indeed! I had hoped for a Bronco hybrid! Rumor mills have it for the sport edition first maybe 2025! Here's to hoping for progress for them. We need healthy competition.
I was really interested in Bronco earlier this year. Love the look, the price. Full stop occurred with the Ford Warranty and the MPG. I guess I'm more used to Hyundai, Subaru warranties and was quite suprised on how "thin" it was. Add to the fact that I'd like to stay above that 20-25 mpg...
I think I saw elsewhere that it's likely to be dealer option installed. Once the Toyota opens the build your LC on the websites, I think it'll be flooded with looky loos.
The hybrid of the engine is actually what drew me to the LC. If I don't get the LC, I'll be getting another hybrid or electric vehicle. My preference is hybrid due to adverse weather conditions I live in winter.
That said, I am not a fan of the way the seats fold down. I fold down my Sub's...
I prefer the rectangular. They look more aggressive to me, and clean. Am not a previous LC owner, so the call to tradition doesn't pull to me as it does some.
Considering that the heritage blue is two tone with rectangular lights, I am thinking the colors are not restricted to trim. Which I am glad, makes the selection easier.
There's obviously a big push for hybrids and EVs. Personally, I'm specifically looking hybrid for my next car. However, it's hard to find that perfect vehicle, and I'm not sure the LC Is it for me quite yet. My honey says his next car will likely be a EV, I imagine it'll be another 5 years...
That army green looks so real in the video, yet I don't believe it's on the of the US colors. Speaking for myself, I find myself scouring the interwebs looking for any new info. haha
I keep looking at the Highlander, and.....I'm guessing while I might be the target audience, the visual appeal isn't grabbing me. I'll wait for the LC.
