I would agree with that. I got on the No Markup Toyota last night, and if I wanted to fly to OH, IN, MO, I would get a LC today in the color I want! WA Zip, they are all spoken for. (huffs)
Sorry
Sorry? I thought the answer above was concrete enough?
"They are going to be doing a full transmission swap and also replacing the torque converter."
Too early to tell if this is one off, lemon situation (which is being fixed) or may have wider repercussions.
Washington
Renton, which posts it up on the Toyota search page so it's obvious.
Bellevue, which doesn't. They had a LC Prem in build available. I could put my name on it, with 5K market up and 2K nonrefundable.
Myself, I don't see his response as an attack on the customer.
I do think there is a certain energy rising on this thread perhaps linked to the active debate going on.
I personally don't think we need repeated posting on the matter. State the review. Provide answers/feedback.

I've bounced around two different dealerships as of today.
One, great sales guy, but they have nothing to sell to me (Yakima, WA). Said, I got you, but I see allocations 45 days out, with nothing coming.
I went to another dealer (Gresham, OR) that had a white LC on the ground, when I confirmed...
I guess I'll say the same thing. :)
There's a 1958 MS and a LC Prem Sand at my dealership that haven't sold. Yakima, WA The LC Prem is just exactly what I want, but the sand color is not jiving with my brain. So I wait......
(Meanwhile they have 2 LC prem coming in, presold, with 20"...
Well stated. And I agree, there's Tundra's on the lot where as finding a LC is a bit more challenging (currently).
My husband has a Tundra, I've driven it. It's not exactly nimble. BUT, it IS a full size truck, and has plenty of room. I will say, he has felt that my car does a better job...
I don't see a lot of commercials where the Tundra is off the road. I do see more where they are hauling and towing.
I'll use my example:
I was in line for a 25 4runner. With the delays of it, I need a car sooner than 6 - 9 months out. And so I test drove a 24 Taco, love the drive. That...
I've had the line and speed assist on my Subie since 2016. Funny how long that tech has been around.....
I will say, the cruise control assist is my favorite thing. Sure is nice on long interstate rides, to set it and just drive. The lane assist, meh. I think most of the time it's...
I'm in the Premium boat. My last 3 vehicles have had memory seats and moonroof. I love both, not doing without. These are things that are harder to mod out, and to me worth the time/money spent. The rails, eh, subjective, just like tires. ;)
Interesting. I did a test drive this past weekend (to confirm build or not to build LC), and took some corners. I found it pretty darn smooth. Drove better than the Taco. My hubby sat in the passenger seat grinning the entire time (he has a Tundra).
I wonder, was she looking for something...
My local dealer called me Friday about having a LC in stock and was I interested. I wasn't on the list anymore but went down to check it out.
If anyone is interested in a Ice Cap White 1958 about 55K in price it's at Yakima, WA. As of Sat Noon ish, it was still available.

There's something for everyone. Styling, and such. To help answer what's the difference? Every LC is a hybrid, not the case for the 4runner. And some trims have only hybrid options.
Have fun and ride! :)
Beat you to it. I moved my "spot in line" from LC to 4runner over the weekend. While I love the LC look and capabilities, I just cannot justify the $.
FYI, there is a leak. It's on the 4runner6g site. and....if it's true, I love the new styling.
From what I hear, it's going to match the Taco line up. 4 Turbo and Hybrid options. Which might so mean staggering releases since the Taco's hybrid isn't out yet.
I spent a little time looking at the 24 Tacoma YT vids. Honestly, I like the interior. I do agree for the cabin space, that screen looks quite large. My hubby is encouraging me to drive a Taco to get a feel for the ride, but I think if I do that, I'm going to walk away with one and just put...
I really do think there has to be something going on with national level regulation. The stall with the LC in US could pave the way for the next one? Assuming the engines are similar to Taco...... 4T and hybrid offerings.
Already mentioned this in another thread. A tease went up. Reveal is the 9th.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to move my "spot" from the LC to the 4runner. It suits my needs, and better pricing. So far I like what I see, BUT I kind of want to see the reveal first.
Wider view shot.
Did a smartpath review, and yup there they are and wow there's the price difference between dealers! Come on guys, there isn't that much milage between those two. shesh.
