    2024+ LC Production Updates (USA/Canada)

I'll buy a used 4Runner. I ain't skeert of that. 2023 TRD Pro in Solar Ocane has been on my list for a year and a half lol. The only reason I don't own one right now, is they announced the LC and I really dig it.

    2024+ LC Production Updates (USA/Canada)

I've mentioned it elsewhere on here, but if the LC isn't reasonably available (and priced, with a couple of boxes checked), I will 100% take my money to a used 4Runner. I'm tired of Toyota and all the others raising their prices by 30-50% in the last 4 years, posting record profits, and every...

    2024+ LC Production Updates (USA/Canada)

Right there with you. If the LC trim is available with some boxes checked and 65k and under, I'm in. If it's intentionally constrained and 70k plus? They can f*** all the way off, I'll continue to not support 30-50% increases in MSRPs in 5 years and just buy something used.

    2024+ LC Production Updates (USA/Canada)

No memory seats for a 65k vehicle is hilarious. My 2002 Silverado had auto headlights and memory seats. Nobody de-contents like Toyota LOL Except maybe GM on having a truck (Colorado) that doesn't have cruise control without adding a package to it.

    2024+ LC Production Updates (USA/Canada)

I think there's going to be options packages. I want to say that I heard (or read) one review stating that there will be a "premium package" on the LC trim for things like the HUD and a few other widgets. And if the Taco is any indicator...The premium package will be TEN GRAND lol

    New video from AutoGuide

That's crossed my mind as well. My wife has told me about 4 times to just go buy the 4Runner so I'll STFU about it lol

    New video from AutoGuide

I'm really digging it. I've almost bought a 4Runner about 5 times in the last month. Just because they available all of a sudden (compared to the last few years) and I love them. I really need to hold out until this summer so I can drive a LC and see if it's that much better.

    Land Cruiser Target Market

I don't know if I'm the target market, but the LC is a target vehicle for me LOL I've had full sized trucks for 35 years (usually have a second and sometimes third vehicle too), and I haven't needed one in 15. I just kept buying them because that's what I like. SUV makes more sense for my life...

    Toyota of Canada posts MPG

My Tundra gets in the 12's. I'd be happy AF with even 20 MPG.
  12. P

Would you give up off-road capability for better mpg?

My understanding about the hybrid setup for the LC is the same as the one on the Tundra...Not for mileage/efficiency at all. It's designed for power and towing. Added mpg is a nice by-product, but not the purpose of the design. That's what Toyota has said about it (on the Tundra, and this is the...

2024 Land Cruiser vs FJ Cruiser - Comparing New and Old Toyotas - Buyer's Guide

I don't think the timing chain cover/cam tower leaks were teething. That was happening from 2007 to 2021 LOL But yeah. I am not skeert of Toyota. Even with a battery and a hair dryer.

2024 Land Cruiser vs FJ Cruiser - Comparing New and Old Toyotas - Buyer's Guide

Has Toyota ever made a stinker of a motor in an SUV/Truck? I'm no expert, and my experiences are all in the US market. But going all the way back to the 80's, my truck with the 22RE was reliable as they got back then.

    Lack of Cargo Space

Same on the mileage. I also have a Tundra. Over 160k miles, I've averaged 12.9 MPG. I knew that going in, it still gets old though.

    Lack of Cargo Space

I hadn't seen it partially folded. Thanks for that pic. Not the worst. It's still probably a solid 6-8" difference from the floor to the front of that folded seat. Better than the giant hole (demonstrated by the other seat in that pic) of a fully tumbled seat. It's just a bad choice, in my...

    Lack of Cargo Space

While we're on the topic of the load floor...The back seats are also a really stupid design for a non-three-row SUV. They need to fold flat, not tumble forward. Now they're even more in the way of cargo because now there's a giant dip between the load floor and the tumbled seats. 4Runner is...

    Lack of Cargo Space

The poorly designed cargo area is what kept me from buying a Sequoia, and might keep me out of the LC. I'm probably going to get cold feet and just buy a 5th Gen 4Runner.
