I have a Meteor Shower mid-trim (Land Cruiser trim) ordered. Been driving black vehicles for years, and thought I'd go with something less hot in summer and less prone to showing the dirt and the pinstripes. Metallic silver'ish vehicles just seem to stay looking newer for longer. Given I've...
I agree. I'll be interested to see where actual TRD Pro and Trailhunter pricing end up coming in on the Tacoma for reference. I think people will be surprised. Even a 2024 TRD Sport Premium is about $6k (CAD) higher than last year's TRD Pro. Still, I'd prefer the LC to have some build-spec...
I spent some time watching the first drive videos last night, and that sounds to be the case. Many reviewers commented on the quiet on-road manners, and more luxury, less "trucky" feel of the LC vs the Tacoma/4Runner.
That's dumb. What are you hearing about the moonroof? According to Toyota Canada, it comes standard with the LC trim. But according to some other sources, including today's youtube videos, you need the premium package to get it.
I was originally not at all interested in the Trail Dust. But seeing it in videos, I don't think I'd be disappointed if that was my only colour choice. Looks great!
Correct. The deposit I have at my dealer is fully refundable, and is based on my liking all the terms such as price, delivery date, options, colours, etc. That said, I highly doubt there will be much price negotiation given the demand, but maybe I'm wrong. Guys in the US are just happy to pay...
My dealer has a similar build and price module on their site, but details and spec's are pretty sketchy. Shows leather seating as a no-cost standalone option for example. Still wondering WTF is taking Toyota Canada so long.
If I was to guess, I'd say their target market is the over 50's. Either on purpose, or by accident. Fun fact: the PT Cruiser was originally targeted towards the 20-something crowd, but it was the over 50's that were buying them!
Congrats! I'm also a huge fan of the JBL audio - I have it in my Tundra, and it's the best car audio I've heard. You could always upgrade the audio after market.
I'm in agreement with you. I'm 58, and am looking to finally step up to the LC (plus I prefer the less "sporty/trendy" styling). Just hope it's really a step up from the 4Runner build as it's always been in the past - especially because I'll likely be putting my money on the LC at least 6 or...
Thanks for the comment. Yes - forgot about those 2 things. According to the lead Engineer on both:
"They each have a role, a mission that differentiates the two vehicles," Keita Moritsu, chief engineer for both the Land Cruiser and the 4Runner, told Motor1 through a translator. "The Land...
Something's that been bugging me since the 4Runner launch the other day:
What, exactly, are the differences between the Land Cruiser and 4Runner, besides just styling and marketing approach? I personally prefer the styling of the LC, but that was never my motivating factor in purchasing one in...
I asked that question to Motormouth on their Youtube 4Runner review, and she said they are driving it this week, and yes, the review drops on the 16th.
