I can say my Toyota JBL's have been great ('07 Tundra, and an '09 Venza which I no longer own) however the Tundra is now 17 years old. Maybe the stock stuff is closer to what I have now. π€·ββοΈ
I'd be curious how much power the amp added, and how much it improved the sound. I'm assuming stock speakers? I've been struggling whether the upgrade to premium to get JBL is worth it.
Bumping this thread. Anyone actually getting keys to their LC's yet? My dealer has a few 1958's, and I see they also have 3 others incoming, but none are mine. π
That looks about perfect for size and just a bit of poke IMO. I'd go 18's, but the rest looks great! Any chance you could post a pic or two right down the side to get a better sense of how much poke you've got?
I drove one last week. Also very impressed. I'm waiting for my LC model as well - my dealer received 2 unspoken-for 1958's delivered before any of their deposit-paid LC's. Hope to see it soon!
IMO, the FE is not worth the extra cost - especially here in Canada, where you're up over $100k. You can customize all the stuff on the FE after market if you wish.
That said, it IS the "First Edition" of a "new" vehicle, so I suspect there will be intrinsic resale value down the road (IF you...
:ROFLMAO: I've got 560,000 km on that truck. And I live where it gets to -40 in the winter. I've completely changed out the battery and cleaned the cables, etc. at least 5 times. This started happening within the first year of owning the vehicle. I've just come to live with it, knowing it's just...
Perhaps not a related issue, but my 2007 Tundra, which I've owned since new, has had a recurring problem where I'd start it and put it in gear, the engine would die altogether, then wouldn't start back up. It was pretty scary the odd time because I'd be out in the middle of the wilderness fly...
Honestly, as much as it sucks for customers wanting one, it's tough to fault the guy for it. I'm in construction. If something's in short supply, I'm gonna do what I can to get it using my contacts, and I don't pay retail. All's fair IMO.
My thought was that maybe they deleted certain items that hard core offroaders don't necessarily want like the 20 inch rims, a few more nanny features to make beeping noises while offroading, a cooler box when a lotta these guys will have onboard fridges/coolers if they are truly overlanding in...
Yes they did. They look MUCH better. However they also tried to get me into one of the 2 vehicles they have, rather than waiting for mine to come in. They said they need to sell one of these, so I got the impression they are willing to negotiate.
I do have to say the 1958 trim wasn't nearly...
