Those are not winter tires. I'm in Calgary - looks like you've come from the UK? (Basing that on your spelling of "tyres"). If you are new to winter driving (even if you're not) get dedicated winters, NOT all seasons. Trust me on this - snowflake rated all seasons are a severe compromise in...
I'm with you. Except 18's, Meteor Shower, and "probably" black interior. If you plan on going off pavement at all, the 18's make a huge difference, but if not, 20's will do it. I do a lot of gravel roads as my passion is fly fishing in remote mountain streams.
Not sure about the US, but this is the Canadian press release. We've not had the LC here in over 30 years!
I prefer the exterior of the GX, but the interior of the LC (the GX is a bit too pretty for what I'll be using it for)...
Quick poll. While I suspect they'll be interchangeable (the mounting area looks identical), which do you prefer?

Yeah, crazy to think a full size SUV with full-time 4wd could get that kind of mileage. That's almost the same as my Audi which gets insanely good fuel economy considering how fast it is.
This describes me exactly. Was planning to wait for the new Tacoma or 4Runner, but when this came out, my decision was made - even knowing it'll likely be $10k - $15k more.
Apparently 5000 for all of North America. Someone here did the math and that works out to 2 or 3 per dealer, I think (all things being equal). I suspect they will go to the highest bidder, but who knows.
Also, FWIW I don't think that's the Trail Dust colour. I believe Trail Dust may be...
Welcome, Kevin!
From what I'm seeing online, it is looking like it'll be at least Q1 before any pricing details are released. Personally, I'd suggest you get on an allocation list ASAP or you might be waiting a LONG time. Just make sure you do it with a dealer that offers a fully refundable...
Agree with all of this. Especially these 2 parts:
1. "Toyota is EXTREMELY careful with the Land Cruiser name when it comes to durability and reliability."
2. "Now ask yourself "For the same or similar money (*over 10 years), would I take the TRDPro 4Runner or the 1E Land Cruiser?"
These...
EXACTLY why I've skipped over this 4Runner. I've been dying to to replace my Tundra for something that I can park in my garage, has better fuel economy, and has a place for my to keep junk like my fishing gear without loading up the back seat. I was seriously thinking about the 4Runner, but...
Man, I hope you're right! Tacoma was intro'd back in May, and still no pricing. Even the car reviewers have yet to be able to drive it. As for the LC, the launch was 2-1/2 months after the Tacoma. Really hoping we get details quicker than with the Tacoma.
