Just received this from my dealer in the past hour or so. A bit annoying as I'd hoped to order the mid level trim with the premium package just to get leather seats and JBL, (according to the early press release this is what the Premium Package gets you) but it looks like it also comes with a...
Yeah, pretty crazy how we know more than they do. I'm first in line on the waiting list for a small dealer just outside of Calgary. He told me a couple months ago they were expecting to see that vehicle to start around $65k Canadian, which is about exactly what I expect. For many of their...
I don't believe so, but I'm also not sure if it's something you'd want in a pick-up. The only time I generally drive in 4x4 with my Tundra is when I'm legitimately off-road and am approching something where 4x4 is imperative, or on icy roads.
I suspect you're not far off. I'm predicting pricing to be roughly similar to the Tundra with similar equipment. I built an SR5 Crewmax 4x4 with a few options to be equivalent with the '58, and a Limited Crewmax 4x4 with options to be roughly equivalent to the Land Cruiser trim. If one...
Honestly, I think those 5000 First Editions will sell like hotcakes, even if they are $20k more than 58's. I suspect the resale value will be very good.
I LOVE the exterior of the GX, but prefer the more modest interior of the LC. Plus I do like the idea of the hybrid. That said, my thought is to go with the LC, and when GX has a hybrid version, consider the upgrade a few years from now. I'm betting the GX is still ~ 10 grand more than the...
Yep, I've got it in my Tundra, and it blows away the Harman Kardon I had in my BWM, and the Bang & Olufsen in my wife's Audi. Not necessarily the volume, but the sound in general.
Pretty sure the softex feels as good as leather. Just not sure about the longevity. I'm hoping for what you are, but with the Premium trim (supposedly gets you leather, JBL and sunroof). JBL is a must for me.
I'm not sure if it's that way up here, but I hope not. I know what I want, and it doesn't have round headlights or softex seats, but it does have JBL, and rhymes with "greedy or power".
YES. My waiting list deposit at my dealership can be applied to either one of my choosing. But the Tacoma's my 2nd choice. I drive a pickup now, and really want the LC because it fits better in my garage, and the fishing gear, etc. doesn't get dusty on gravel roads throwing it in the back box.
I did some research on this. Might be biased findings but most people with Toyota hybrids have said the batteries lasted over 10 years, and averaged about $2500 or so to replace. Considering the fuel savings (and additional power), I'd suggest that's a good tradeoff...
That is such a badass looking truck. I think the interior might be a bit fancy for me, and I prefer buttons to touch screens, but I'm in love with that exterior.
Even if you want to do some off-roading in winter, it will be light off roading because of snow and ice. Your options for offroad trails in winter are pretty limited around here as many of the highways going where you'd want to go are closed December 1st.
I have these on my Tundra, and they...
