Wait for Canadian pricing. It's not usually a straight US to CAD dollar exchange. On most Toyotas (Tundra, 4Runner, etc.), it's $US plus around 20% or so. Unfortunately with Lexus, on the GX they're hosing us. I'm definitely not going that route.
I'm doing a wait and see on final spec's. For example, I just watched a video of the LC trim where the presenter noted it doesn't come with a moonroof. But the Canadian spec's (above) clearly show it does.
As for the cool box console, while it would be convenient, I have tons of other...
Why? WHY did you need to give me this idea?? 😅 That would look friggen awesome!
I've put my name down at my dealer for black or meteor (brown sugar), and I get first pick.
Nice little unit, and a decent compromise, but I hated having to pop it up in the garage to dry if it rained on the last day of camping (I swear 60% of the time) , plus the necessity to belly crawl in to access the fridge and not having the use of the kitchen while travelling, or the storage...
My '07 Tundra with 550,000km on it (that's like 330,000 miles, I think) has not a single crack in the leather. It's been bulletproof. I doubt the Rav4 gets the same grade of leather though.
The dealer I'm working with here said they expect a mid-60's starting price for the base model, which should put the mid-grade trim $75'ish based on pricing of the Tundra. We'll see. I hope he's right. That's before tax of course. Lucky for me, I only pay the 5% GST.
No idea. But this had me checking Tacoma and Tundra pricing Canada - US. For the most part, we're about 20% higher than you guys, which is reasonable. So maybe this is just a Lexus thing 🤷♂️.
I hope so, because if the LC is 38% higher here than the US like the Lexus (I'm predicting ~...
If you do the calculation between l/100km and mpg online, I'm pretty sure almost all those calculators use US gallons as we really don't use that measure (Imperial gallons) in Canada anymore.
