They sell them as “certified pre owned”, so the warranty is longer. Worth it, for the longer warranty IMO

The LC and Lexus GX are made at the Tahara plant on the same line with the same workers. Only advantage I know about a LC from the Tahara plant. The Hino is a subsidiary of Toyota. According to the Toyota Engineer on YouTube.

I paid $576 for both, including shipping, from Grieco Toyota. RI to LA

I just found out the LC from the Tahara plant comes off the same production line as the GX. The same workers are assembling both vehicles on that line, at different production times. Here’s a video explaining some differences between the LC and GX

I’ve never heard of a Toyota part being regional, but I had no problem ordering it myself and already arranged to have it linked to the car at a dealership. Good luck with your dealership, if that doesn’t call another one.

My dealership is telling me to program/link to vehicle it’s a flat $170 fee. Another local dealership said they could do it for 1/2 hour of labor at $90. Cheapest key I could find is $223 delivered
