I like the setup you are running. It looks fantastic. Off topic question, how has it been coming from the Raptor to the LC? Current DD is a '22 37pp Raptor. I love it, but it cant fit on some of the back trails I routinely tread. Any huge regrets moving on from the Raptor?
Feel for you my friend. But in all fairness it is way more weird IMO that a dealer takes apart an engine for no other reason than an odd noise that most of the other new fleet makes with no signs of distress. I hope you get a fantastic resolution to the problem.
So sorry about the accident and damage. 90% of stock vehicles would have sustained the same damage. Not LC specific. Sand, especially dunes really shouldn’t be taken at speed in any stock vehicle without proper scouting. It is impossible to judge approach angle, and anything over 15mph will act...
Overlanding in the Southwest needs more clearance than a 265 tire. Been doing it for years. Super rocky terrain clearance is king.
Yeah, the only SL rated AT offroad tire in a 275 is a General Tire Grabber.....not gonna happen. Nothing in Falken, Ko3, etc etc.
If you can find a Falken AT 4 275/70/R18 in SL let me know. I would buy it right now. It may not make sense to put an E rated tier on a mid sized truck. But the simple fact is there is no really good quality option in a larger SL tire to improve clearance for offroading.
