I get between 15-24. I average maybe 16 around town (short drives, lots of stops), and average 22 when out on weekend adventures out of town (2-lane highways with lots of mountainous ups and downs)
Here's some things to consider that impact gas mileage:
tires
how you drive (lots of...
I toss inflatable paddleboards on the OEM crossbars regularly with tie-down straps. On longer camping trips with more gear I'm likely to just deflate and re-inflate, and I'll put the cargo box on the roof instead.
The height of the cruiser is the hardest part. I'm 6'1 and pretty agile, so...
18's. I suppose selling the 20s might be pretty hard, but I'm sure your odds go up the closer you get to $0! Never underestimate what people will take off your hands if you post it for free
There are plenty of pickup truck owners out there who are happy to buy your brand new tires for dirt cheap and put them to use. Please don't just discard them.
I sold all 5 for $300. Could have gotten more if i was patient, but they were taking up a lot of space.
You need to turn off the parking brake assist - both the button to the left of steering wheel that disables the physical automatic braking, and a setting in the dash that disables it from yelling at you.
If you only have the rack on occasionally and can live with being yelled a (there is a...
That looks awesome! Just updated the table with the Victory racks. I'm also very curious to see how the short rack works out for you.
Here's the only picture of it they have on the listing:
Yeah, I fit all 5 without putting the rear seats down (because of child car seats). One had to go behind the passenger seat (moved forward) in the back. No problem.
I have read this section of the manual 3 times already and I still can’t remember any it.
Pages 437-449. It’s a good read. Probably the most important part of the entire manual.
In fact I think I might just go read it again now!
I would love to meet the person who uses Apple Music through the built in software and not via CarPlay. 🤯
Maybe I should log in just for fun, while I’ve got my subscription.
Also relevant - Sirius will offer you $2 for a 3 month extension on your 3 month trial. Which is a great deal. Of...
It would be great if we could disable some sources, so cycling through the sources you actually want was quicker and easier.
I'm looking at you, in particular, Amazon Music 😡
A/T4W in stock 265/70 r18 SL size here. I have about 800 miles on them. They've been great. There's a low AT tire hum at speeds above 45mph, but nothing offensive. I think they are a little taller than the stock tires, but I don't have any data to back that up (specs say they are identical)...
I noticed this at speeds over ~65mph. I assumed it was the crossbars. Kinda disappointing, I feel like in the year 2024 we have the technology to make these things mostly silent.
My wife commented on me taking too many pictures of the cruiser. But i think she's just jealous and doesn't know what it is like to truly love an inanimate metal box on wheels.
I also noticed this just recently (past week) when backing up while turning out of a parking space. Doesn't seem to be 100% and only started recently that i noticed.
Seat sensors don’t work because the kinds of kids who can’t get themselves out are almost certainly in car seats. That’s a child size weight that is permanently installed in the back. There is no way for the sensor to know with any certainty if a child is there or not.
At any rate, I have...
