You can check out my build thread for my platform. I unbolted the tie down latches near the rear seats and bought longer bolts to do exactly what you are talking about. It works great and is incredibly solid.
Had mine at the dealer for another reason and had them check the seats because the seat heater is the weakest of any car I have owned. They just used a laser thermometer to test it and said specs say low should be about 65, medium 75 ish, and high is 85. I guess it is just designed to run at...
Probably makes sense to grab the gx then, your options won’t be getting better in the short term this is where the Toyota lineup is heading and the Lexus ones likely follow suite a few years after Toyota. Toyota had been very open about their belief in a hybrid future.
Yeah I am at 1700 miles but did 600 on a road trip and I’m positive that’s where this came from. If it keeps happening maybe I’ll ultimately have to consider getting it wrapped :(.

Looks like a lot of places make a pen like touch up direct, paint 2 fix, etc… I assume this is an area where I definitely want to try and get oem from my dealer though, does Toyota make pens?
Found what I assume to be a rock chip/scratch when washing my LC today. Two questions:

2: do I need to have this professionally repaired or is there a simple diy solution?
Idk I am at 1600 total miles LC edition and the first 1k was averaging 22.7 in town, almost no driving on highway it was 95 percent 25-45mph roads with stop lights every half mile or so. Then I went on a road trip for 500 miles at 80-85mph and that road trip averaged 18.5 (pretty heavy winds)...
Does anyone know the main differences between the dirtcom and rigd options?
If you have either of these then do all the backup sensors just light up everytime you go in reverse? Does this ruin 360 cam?
I just posted a bit about my DIY build if you want to check it out. I am using an exped mattress on it as well.
