Can confirm they have hood struts. Don’t know if they fit our cruisers. My wife and I are picking up her GX this Saturday. That’s when I’m going to really look at it and see if the mounting points are the same and try to track down part numbers. I’ll try to keep everyone posted. I want to add...
The web site NYTOP.com has a set that doesn’t look to bad. I know I’m going to hold off for now and see what comes out. We should see some new ones coming out, hopefully, soon.
For strictly emergency situations you should be ok. I completely agree with EOD Guy. Where I worked last we had a few off road beater trucks that never left the property and we threw on what ever we had available.
From what I have seen these wheel repair businesses are pretty good. There is a company I see that works at a few dealerships near me. That reminds me I really need to get their name and number for that “just in case” scenario
I really am still on the fence to buy a rock rail or not. For me it’s just aesthetics. I really like the clean look with nothing there to be honest. Plus some designs look really cool others seem way too bulky. One thing I really don’t like and it’s been mentioned somewhere else is the Westcott...
Really good point, and a concern. The set I had on my Tacoma the bracket used the hood mounting point and came up over the hood. Basically a stamped steel letter “C” . I’ll wait to see if anything like that comes out for the LC.
This afternoon another meteor shower with Pa tags on Grove street in Cherry Hill NJ. I couldn’t get their attention I was sitting at the traffic light when they zipped on by.
Stock 58 edition highway tires I haven’t had a chance to upgrade yet. I am still on the fence in which tire to get but heavily leaning towards the KO3’s
Little over over 1600 miles, two road trips from Southern NJ to upstate Pa. Add in some around town driving and the dreaded daily commute. No vibrations at all. Silky smooth. On 476 I didn’t realize I was getting up to 90-95. This truck is solid, well planted and really really fun to drive. Way...
This is my exact thoughts. I absolutely love my 58, coming from a ‘13 Tacoma my LC 58 is light years ahead of it. This truck checks all the boxes for me and I can add what I want when I want if I want. It’s a win for me. I have had mine for about a month now and truly am enjoying it.
Yeah they were heavier than I originally thought. I only did the top shelf. I still managed to put some scratches in the black plastic trim in the rear, oh well.
