I'm a watch guy, so your post speaks to me. I actually have the G-Shock Mudmaster. It's a fun watch to wear.

In the GCC the Land Cruiser Prado and the LC 300 have a higher resale value than their Lexus counterparts. It's the same dealership group etc. I think it has a lot to do with the cost of ownership (premium fuel, insurance costs, maintenance).
Similarly, in the US, I think the LX 570 can be...
This is really exciting news. I keep going back and forth between the GX and the LC. I think the LC makes more sense for me though. I like the hybridized engine.
At the end of the video the reviewer says Toyota has a boat load of GX's (maybe LC's too?) on the way over to California. He also mentions Toyota says to expect them on the lots in the beginning of Q2.
Yeah, the First Edition isn't a great value at 109K USD. That crosses into LX 600 territory here.
I will say that Europe perceives Toyota as a premium vehicle which probably justifies the pricing strategy.
My wife's lease is up later this year. I'm going to pull the trigger on the LC at that point. We're both done with European cars. The reliability isn't there anymore. They're beautiful to drive, but they're just so frustrating.
I just bought the LX 600 F-Sport yesterday. I was playing around with the builder online prior to pulling the trigger. It's a lot like the Toyota system. You can go through the build and it will try to match you to a car in your selected region.
I have Mercedes version of the softex and I honestly don't think about it too much. It feels supple, and cleans easily enough.
I think a fully optioned LC is the way to go on this vehicle and will prove to be a good value when compared to the GX 550 Overtrail trim which I am also seriously...
I just got back from the Los Angeles Auto Show. They did not have the Land Cruiser on display. I was told they only have 3 cars in the US and they are currently being used by their marketing department for a photo shoot. The helpful Toyota marketing rep believes the vehicles will be available in...
This pricing list has allegedly been leaked and is circulating on the Lexus GX forums. What do you think we can infer from the pricing structure? This looks like a rather modest premium to the GX 460's current pricing structure.
Yeah, they're trying to get there, but they have contractual obligations to distributors and the dealerships. Toyota has a weird sales channel. They sell through distributorships who are essentially middlemen between the OEM and the dealership.
Toyota has the SmartPath and Monogram programs...
This is the exact package I want. I have been going back and forth between the 250 and the GX 550. It really comes down to availability and price points. I think the LC is a better value for money.
The First Edition is only being offered in Trail Dust and Heritage Blue. Those are both 2 tone schemes. The other trims will be available in these two color choices in addition to the other 5 colors Toyota has announced for the LC.
In the SLC reveal the Land Cruiser (mid-tier trim) was shown...

I haven't seen AVS mentioned anywhere either. I think it's only available on the Luxury + Overtrail and Overtrail + trims of the GX 550 where it's specifically listed in the order guide.
I saw a version of that vehicle at my dealership during one of my many repair appointments. They had 1 unit in inventory and I'm told it sold between drop off and pick up of my car.
