Umm. Okay. I love mine…exceeding expectations. Some slight growing pains that several OTH software updates have resolved.
It sounds like someone is going to get a nice, slightly used, 1958 edition and be stoked.
Did you ceramic tint the rear seat and back windows that were all factory tinted/privacy glass or just the front two and windshield? I have Xpel on my front two and windshield, just curious if there is a noticeable cooling effect in the cabin if I add ceramic to the factory glass in the back.
Yep, exact same thing is happening to me. Slow back out, hard turn on the wheel, and front break/s squeal like a low pad alarm. Thought I just need to wear the pads down a bit…but still happening 3k miles in. Added to my “dealer punch list” for my next visit.
I stopped by last week…they’re working up some concepts now. I’ll post here as soon as they’re done, but it will probably be a few weeks because they are all out on the road right now…hopefully enjoying themselves.
I toured the shop, super impressive. I think they are going to come up with some...
I’m with EOD Guy, I was genuinely excited to drop my mount once I got the FE with wireless charging and a seamless Apple CarPlay integration. Am I missing something here?
Dealer told me the rear seat icon on startup is not something that can be turned off. The alarms/ notifications can as mentioned above, but that icon on the cluster at startup is not (yet) configurable according to them.
Digital Key Re-set:

“First delete the Toyota app. Then turn off your Wi-Fi and just use your mobile carrier data. Then re-download the app using your mobile data, not Wi-Fi. Then...
I’m using it daily. It’s still a little wonky (eg need to launch the app and give it time to connect), but love the simplicity of leaving the key fob behind in certain scenarios. I did have to reset it once, dealer was no help, but I eventually found the steps posted in another forum and it...
Yeah, I like the sliders but not the structural manipulation that’s required to install them. I’ll hold off for now and see what other options hit the market.
Is that just straight straps over your Creatures board bag or is there some sort of attachment you affixed on the roof rack? Hard to tell from the photo. I’ll mostly just stuff in the back, but for longer range trips or more boards, throwing ‘em up top is preferred. Mahalo.
Yep. This frustrated me for about a week until I learned it needs to cycle through the extreme seat position ranges in order to reset the memory function.
This was the first “mod” I made to mine within 24 hours of receipt. Much better look after removing the diaper. Mine was located in one of my stash spots in the back.
This was it!! Thank you. I had been playing around with it a bit with no success. Same server error message each time. I figured I would just ask the dealer the next time I was near their area. Solved. Thank you!!!
Two weeks with this baby and still feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Checks all the boxes for me…and turning a lot of heads in North County San Diego. Storage is plenty for my toys (surf boards, snow boards, and other kit) while plenty of room for my wifey and her “stuff”. Looking forward to...
