Not going to swap but I'm in the Nashville area and likely pulling them off immediately to sell if my FE ever comes off QC hold, its sitting in train yard a few hours north of me now.
I think its probably because in the owners manual its says to only run 91 octane after dark and I bet no one has found the auxilary tank switch yet . So everyone is running around on the low octane reserve tank.
My 4XE Wrangler has amazing backup cam quality, However it goes from the 500K quality daytime picture to looking like a $30 walmart trail cam at night. Is the LC backup cam halfway decent at night? and what about the digital rearview mirror at night?
Sure wish they would take a trick out of the jeep play book. My wrangler has 4 aux switches nicely built in to the dash and all the wiring is already run through the fire wall and ends in a nice pigtail up near the grill and battery. Actual wiring up of 2 sets of KC's took minutes.
I am working on a 3d print design with a buddy, we just dont have the damn vehicle yet to start prototyping lol Actually if someone could float me some rough overall dimension of the 2 covers it would help speed things up for sure.
I don't know how many of you are in the same position as me, most people are stuck in port mine is lodged in a train. Mine has finished a month long train journey from Portland (arrived April 8th) and is confirmed it is at the final rail destination Princeton Indiana I think or Chicago. Texted...
I hope this applys to the ones stranded in the train yards at their final destinations too. Mine processed in Portland and boarded a train 51 days ago doh! I think I'd feel more comfortable if it were still sitting in the port.
I texted mine about 30 mins ago asking if he was aware of a "dealer call" of some sort regarding the QC hold that was rumored to be happening sometime today. Exact words. Nothing back yet.......
My dealer grabbed a set of fronts and rear cargo as soon as it came to light the FE did not include a all weather rear cargo, he grabbed the other mats in case. In port April 9th still no ride but I own floormats and a personal plate I cant pick up. Weathertech has said coming soon since the 1st...
did your sticker match all the pio options originally on the vehicle? I had 1 option drop off when it processed and got on the train due to parts shortage. I was fine with it (TRD air cleaner)
You could absolutely go to a fabric store and get different densities of foam, the right store will have it by the roll. They have truckers seat density foam all the way down to soft thin batting stuff. Would be easy to make a cardboard pattern and use an electric carving knife to cut the foam...
Seen them on snowmobiles just keeps the tire from sucking the mudflap up under extreme conditions. When you see it behind a snowmobile tread it makes more sense visually.
Seems to me like the right thread according to the heading. I for one am thankful I have seen it a couple times. Aa a TN resident who was unable to find a FE locally for less then $97k I am amazed at hearing of a FE at MSRP (then again it is black) The guy should be proud of his...
If the various PIO parts shortage continues they could sit there for a while even if the sunroof was already addressed before it shipped. Mine sat there for a month before it processed for a train ride before the QC hold.
