That is the part some members are saying it doesn’t require premium, which is not what I have seen so far. I agree with you.
A fool and his money are soon parted. In today’s world paying more than MSRP. No vehicle is worth that. I would prefer to make a donation to my local Animal shelter
Do you want to roll that dice and have your engine warranty possibly null and void? If the knocking causes an engine issue?
Not I. But to each their own.
That is fine and dandy to say and in theory maybe ok. But and there is always a but, it is stated in said manual that if there is engine damage and the correct fuel isn’t/hasn’t been used. Say bye bye to said warranty. I won’t take that risk on an $80,000 vehicle.
So true, I was going to maybe not bother with my LC now, and wait on the new 4 Runner, but i am guessing same engine for the 4 Runner Hybrid, same deal on Premium fuel.

Well that is just giving me gas!! I know the difference where I live is 6 cents per litre between the reg unleaded and premium....but you know, still. Shouldn't really make a difference if i purchase or not , but it is giving me second thoughts.
