Yeah, so I'm pretty picky about my mods and the FE extras feel like they are boxing me in. I'm unexpectedly leaning towards a LC over FE as of right now.

OMGSH, only 5 more MPG? That is DISMAL.

I can't do running boards anyway - I actually wheel. Rock sliders for me, all the way. Plus, I am really liking some of the mods others are doing on the LC (not FE). And I'm not sure about the round lights, prefer the rectangle. Premium gas - WHY?!

OK, so hear me out. I'm just not sure if I want the FE or the LC model. The FE seems overpriced - is it worth it? Is the 4 banger engine too small? Will I like it more than my Runner?

...and I'm freaked out. Is this the right vehicle? I LOVE my 4Runner 5th Gen (EXCEPT for the lack of get up and go). Talk me down, guys.

Colorado daily driver, weekend warrior to mountains, roads and backcountry (Alpine Loop, Black Bear, Telluride Bridal Falls, Moab, Spud Lake, etc.). Not to the local City Market/ Kroger’s though, that’s for the family beater. Cars take more hits and damage there than anywhere else. 😕

My husband has the new Tacoma, the screen is obnoxious.

Went with blue FE, but would consider trail dust. I have a lunar rock Runner and love the weird colors.

That's one of the things I am thinking through right now. Definitely would modify the wheels/ tires (I like big tires and I cannot lie!). Would add lighting, etc., too. With so many extras on the FE, not sure I would need a lot of the things I would normally add. What do you think? Are you...

My husband bought one of the new 2024s, it is tight. OK for my littles, but a little cuddly for adults.
