OK, so I just drove it - definitely pretty. WAY better ride than the 4Runner - for sure.
Impressions:
Rock Rails - just OK, not my pick.
Roof rack - meh, felt like it was plastic?
Engine/ Response - I think we all know this one already.
Interior: Nice on the inside, seems like an upgrade...
Yeah, so I'm pretty picky about my mods and the FE extras feel like they are boxing me in. I'm unexpectedly leaning towards a LC over FE as of right now.
I can't do running boards anyway - I actually wheel. Rock sliders for me, all the way. Plus, I am really liking some of the mods others are doing on the LC (not FE). And I'm not sure about the round lights, prefer the rectangle. Premium gas - WHY?!

Colorado daily driver, weekend warrior to mountains, roads and backcountry (Alpine Loop, Black Bear, Telluride Bridal Falls, Moab, Spud Lake, etc.). Not to the local City Market/ Kroger’s though, that’s for the family beater. Cars take more hits and damage there than anywhere else. 😕
That's one of the things I am thinking through right now.
Definitely would modify the wheels/ tires (I like big tires and I cannot lie!). Would add lighting, etc., too. With so many extras on the FE, not sure I would need a lot of the things I would normally add.
What do you think? Are you...
Hi Mark, I am also going to receive a Heritage Blue First Edition. We'll be twinsies. I will have to give up my beloved Runner tho, so I need to see this Cruiser in person...
Hello, my name is Sunshine and I live in Colorado. Traded in my Expedition late last year to snag a Lunar Rock 2023 4Runner 5th Gen. Added an Old Man Emu lift kit, fattie tires, RSG sliders, Prinsu rack, light bar, lights, etc. - love wheeling with the Runner. As an OG Jeeper Girl, the Runner...
