I haven't had it fully articulated but steering clearances are all good. Be aware that the first SCS f5 wheels in this thread do poke out a lot and aren't ideal. For the 17x8 +20 Bradley V wheels from Japan which I'm running now I had to bore out the lug holes on the 17" ones I got to fit the...
I'm also in NH! I only had the SCS f5 on for a test fit since I had them kicking around. I got some 17x8 +20 Bradley V wheels from Japan now which the SCS F5 are styled after. I had to bore out the lug holes on the 17" ones I got to fit the 14mm lugs on the LC. Apparently 4x4 engineering just...
@Scott S. Any update on this? I'm curious if you were able to get your 4runner TPMS sensors connected to the LC? Also were they OEM sensors and what year 4Runner were they from if they did work? Thanks!
Yeah they're one of my fav wheels and a classic so should give the LC an even more retro vibe. I'll get them on in the next week or so and will post pics when I do ๐ I'm also swapping on some gray bumper center bottom panels that are a near perfect color match to the matte gunmetal Bradley Vs...
Here's a few links. You'll need to use a proxy buying service like noppin.com or buyee.jp etc. Mine came out to about $225 total including shipping and fees. You can buy aftermarket ones off ebay etc. already for about half that price but I like the design with the upsweep at the back that...
OEM Toyota rain visors arrived from Japan today and I got them installed ๐ Next up is getting the 17x8 Bradley V wheels and 285/70r17 Yokohama G015 tires mounted & balanced so I can get them on.
Thanks! Did you need to have them programmed or cloned first or did they work straight out of the box and you just set them as a second set of wheels in the landcruiser settings and it figured them out?
Yeah the Methods will fit a little nicer for sure.
These Vredestein tires are around 31 3/4" tall so just a bit taller than the stock tires on the 1958. They probably just look big in the photo because they're 17s and have more sidewall.
They're great tires if you drive mainly on road but...
I had a set of 17x8.5 -10 SCS F5 wheels with 265/70 Vredestein Pizza AT tires sitting around (meant for a 4runner build that never happened) so threw them on our new 1958 today. A little more poke than ideal but they look great and weigh about 10 lbs less each than the stock wheels & tires. The...
