Anyone's tow hitch become a little discolored? The new shiny black color is gone and it now has a foggy white film look to it. Anyone know what could cause this? Sun exposure? It's sort of hard to see in the photo.
I havent found a mat for the 1958/not-wireless charging pad. This cup holder mat comes in the FEs I believe but it's back ordered and not available to purchase at the moment

Are the back two any different from the 1958 black sills? I.e., do they say toyota but are just not lit? Just curious why they sell all 4 together if theyre not any different.
It just clips over the window still slightly and you bend it into place so it’s supported on the door. They have a vid on their website. Super easy and doesn’t get in the way of the windows at al. It’s slide a little but doesn’t fall off.
Just posted this on another thread as well but…
I bought these and they work great with the FE roof rack. A bit more expensive than piecing it together yourself but I like the shape of the t-bolt head and that they tighten down with just a twist...

There’s seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions on the internet on if the US-based LC is a Prado or not. Are there any mechanical/capability/etc. differences that make one an LC and another a Prado or is it all marketing? There’s some good details on wiki (Toyota Land Cruiser Prado -...
The power/volume knob would have to be replaced to upgrade to the 12" screen as well as the trim that surrounds the guage cluster. Given the different placement of the knob, I bet the wiring harness is different.
Does the Cup Holder Tray - 66993-60040 mentioned in that Parts Thread sit in the cup holder? I was wondering if a removeable rubber insert existed for that.
They also mention a luggage cover but nothing comes up when you search for it (Luggage Cover - PZ317-60013)
Just did the break-in oil change on my 1958. Factory oil filter was really tight. Skid plate set up is a bit different on the 1958. Two pieces--front piece is metal, back piece is plastic. The back plastic piece has a 3-bolt panel to access the oil drain plug so you don't need to remove the...
Anyone familiar with this oil? I'm new to maintaining a hybrid motor. I'm sure it's splitting hairs if you're doing oil changes every 5K miles.

Some of my sensors went off but it was fine. Bigger concern was the sound the roof made during the dryers… the metal was flexing hard and making that “wuhhh wuhhh wuhhh” sounds a sheet of metal makes when you wiggle it back and forth.
This may be a stretch… but with all the wheel/tire upgrades, I’d love to trade for LC/FE 18s if anyone is just looking to keep a spare set of “other” wheels around + cash.
Located in Richmond, VA. Could travel a little to get them.
